Why does this happen?

Why am I hungrier on days that I weight train and less hungry on days I do cardio. Technically I should be burning more calories on the day with cardio but I'm less hungry??

Anyone? Anyone?

For me, I notice on weight days, I need more protein to help keep me full. Maybe because cardio is more of an energy burner, it can pull from the areas of the body that store fat to produce that energy, whereas the muscles need new protein to rebuild so we feel hungry if we don't get enough.

If I get protein with in an hour after I weight train, I find that I tend to be less hungry through out the day. I HAVE to do this or I'll be starved the next day as well.

I think it has something to do with glycogen depletion and the need for repair that is associated with weight training.

I had the same thing happen to me! I used to be starving after cardio but now that has flipped. Thanks for the suggestion for eating more protein. Now where is that peanut butter :D....
