Whole grain white??

Has anyone seen the recent add by sara lee, they say have a whole grain white bread, i always thought white was made from wheat but with all the fiber stripped off?? So how can u call a white bread whole grain??

It's not 100% whole grain. It's made of a mixture of whole grain wheat flour and enriched flour. See this press release on their website:

Looks like it was designed with picky kids in mind - so parents can slip their kids whole grains without the kids realizing it.

Emily,

Not just for picky kids but for picky husbands too. I keep trying to get him to eat better...so far I have upped his fruit and veggie consumption and lowered his red meat intake, but he says eating a piece of 100% whole grain bread is as awful for him as it is for me to try and drink a glass of whole milk (which I cannot do!). He did seemed to think this bread was ok though.
