Who will stay up all night!!

I feel like it's Christmas!! As I watch all the precincts report and the networks are projecting winners in each state, and the electoral vote tallies go up and up and up, it is so excited and I just know I'm not going to be able to sleep!

Anyone else??

Oh my word, <------- is so excited that she is using bad grammar, mixing up words in her post, and using !!! where she meant to use ??? Sorry Nancy and others!

No way!

My early morning wake-up call means I pay dearly for one minute of lost sleep! I guess that means I'll have to sleep with earplugs, because DH will probably be watching all night.

Of course, he can get up whenever he wants to. I've got kids to haul to school!

I'd love to stay up and watch, but I have to get to bed soon. I'm hoping to hear who takes Ohio. Or, who they predict will take Ohio before I have to go to bed.

Sorry, Katie, I hope to be sawing logs soon.:D
But I'm sure Julia will have me up in a couple hours...a couple times.... so I'll check in on the election results thru the night.:)

Sometimes I LOVE being on the West Coast. It's only a little after 6PM here. I'll be up late enough to hear the winner unless something dramatic changes.

Fox News declared Obama as Ohio's winner. No one else is, though.

Election Coverage Ending

Well..... I'm hoping we'll have a really good idea of what's happening by 11:00 EST. I am watching to see how things are progressing while I'm on the PC. I dunno.....

My off days are Tue/Wed so count me in. I was freaking out so bad when the first tentative "results" filtered in I had to switch off CNN and flip over to TNT (for Law&Order reruns) just to get my mind off it all for a minute. Then I logged onto my home page (Yahoo) and was thrilled. I'll flip over to CNN in a bit. I have to say, if everything goes the way I'm praying this will be so much better than Christmas ever was.

BTW, I work for the post office and our unit processed the absentee ballots here in central Ohio. It was extremely gratifying to see the insanely huge number of envelopes, the likes of which I've never seen. I used to wonder what it would take to get Americans off their butts to go vote. Evidently, it takes utter economic collapse or, forget it.

I have to agree - being on the West Cost is so fabulous for this!!!!!! :) only 8pm here and we have the winner.... :)

My kids, mom, hubby and I were agonized over our state of Virginia...back and forth...our MarkWarner though will be candidate in 8 years though, he is mandated by everyone....

What a night.
