who here has weaks knees?

who here has weak knees i bought a 2 inch mat which helped but still feel knee act up sometimes

Hi,
I wear knee braces on both my knees when I workout. I need that extra support. I am careful with lunges & squats I don't go heavy.
I also use a mat for extra cushion too.

Ditto for me - I have to pay attention to how my knees feel BEFORE I workout. If I go crazy when they're sore I regret it later. Funny, my knees tned to bother me more in the summer when the humidity is high, not so much in the winter. I use a mat AND a knee brace, but sometimes they're not enough.

I have weak knees - come from a long line of bad-kneed folks. I only use one riser when doing step - I still get a great workout - the intensity can always be upped by making movements larger and/or more pronounced.

The thing that has made a HUGE difference in reducing my knee pain is lunging onto the step with my front leg. I never do lunges on the floor anymore. Using the step still works the target muscles, and puts slightly more emphasis on the glutes, which I appreciate.
