Who gets great results going lighter on LB work?

Good morning everyone.

I think I'd seen a thread on this both here and on Video Fitness, but I'd really like to hear from anyone that changed their routine for their lower body by either going very light on weights or changing to pilates/toning type workouts only for lower body etc.

I am very close to where I want to be in my fitness goals and yet the major area where my body is CLINGING to fat is my upper thighs and a bit on my hips. Mostly upper thighs. Now I know I need to take my 'clean d**t' from 90% to 100% to spur on losing this fat BUT I do know from my own experience that working with heavy weights on lower body does indeed bulk up the size of my thighs too much for my liking.

I really want to lean out the thighs and lose the fat and DO IT RIGHT. I've incorporated Burr Method, Pilates, Yoga etc. - although this is still new, I've been doing this all less than one month.

For those of you that have done this, please tell me (us) your routine and your results. I'm a bit torn between doing my Cathe workouts and using like 3lb weights for lower body (which I was surprised at the nice burn I was getting after formerly going pretty heavy) or doing NO weights for lower body or maybe only doing weights type workouts like 1x a week for lower body and the rest would be toning stuff as mentioned above.

LOVE TO HEAR SOME GREAT RESULTS AND ROUTINES!!

Have a great day,
Kelly
