Who can do it?

Crazy 8's are when you do the lower half of the curl for 8, then the upper half of the curl for 8 and then the whole curl with the barbell for 8, and Cathe usually does a 3 and 1 count for the last 8...:)
 
I barely finished them with 30 and would probably go a little lighter next time. That is such an evil exercise for me, especially the lower half. I'm embracing the challenge though:)

Same here. I believe I used 30 and made a mental note to go a bit lighter next time as I couldn't eek out the last couple of reps without losing my form.

Oh I have done those! I never heard them called that on the ones I have done. Thanks!

Well, I did it with one 15 lb db on the right side, which would be equal to a 30 lb bb if I was using both arms... but the left arm is out of commission right now. But still, I didn't match Cathe.
 
I can barely eek out the 14 reps in Muscle Max with a 30lb barbell. When Cathe said she was picking up a 35lb barbell for crazy 8's, I thought she was crazy!

I did manage to do it with a 25lb barbell, but I felt like such a wimp. Did anyone notice if Cedie, Jai, Lorraine, and Brenda were lifting 35lbs also?

I didn't pay much attention to the rest. I was too buisy gritting my teeth and yelling...
Most of Cathe's workouts she does 10# dumbells for crazy eights..

I did it all the way through with 35. Sigh. I am a bull when it comes to lifting heavy, I am really strong. Which is why I prefer these type workouts of course because they are "easier" for me. What is not easy, is enurance based workouts, nonstop light weights, like the Slim Series which I am doing now. They seriously kick my butt. So does the Squeeze.

I am at the point where I need no more mass, just nice definition, and want to lose about 5-7 pounds of fat to bring it out. Hopefully, these workouts along with cleaning up my diet will do the trick.
