MARY1616

Cathlete
good morning everyone,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
i am so excited to do the january rotation but i dont have these 3 videos...cardiokicks,mis and step fit i have all the rest. can anyone recommend any similar workouts that i could use?
thank you in advance

For cardio kicks you could do Kick, Punch, & Crunch.
For all the step videos I plan on doing my treadmill routine since I don't do step very much anymore.
MIS - not sure.

Hi Rhonda,

What type of treadmill routine do you have? I have those I-FIT cd's that I sometimes use. I also am now using a rebounder which is GREAT!!!.

I have a couple routines I have gotten out of magazines, the one I have been doing is called Calorie Blaster (or something like that). It has intervals and builds up to two 6-minute runs. My runs are not that fast since I am not a runner, ends with a 5 minute cool-down. It is 45 minutes and I get a good workout.

I also have a treadmoves training for speed tape, which in my opinion is hard but I do make it through and it is almost 40 minutes.

Any hour long strength workout will work for MIS like Power Hour or if you have Bodymax you could do just the leg and upper body work at the end (not the step part at the beginning).

Any straight step workout will work for Step Fit like Power Max, Step Works, Step Blast w/o the challenge, Rhythmic Step, Cardio and Weights w/o the weight work. Step Fit is just straight stepping. So no intervals or circuits. If you have CTX, you could do a couple of just stepping portions together.

Hey Rhonda, I'd be interested in the specifics of your treadmill routine. How long is each interval etc.?

HTH,
Carla

Carla,

What can be sub for CTX Upper body?

Can L&G be sub for LL, and could Kickbox be sub for CTX kickbox (cardio only)?

Oh -- and how about IMAX 2, what can be sub for that?

I'm sorry ;( to bother you, but I will have all of Cathe's dvds soon. I promise.

Hey Rhonda,

Thank you so much. Those advanced ones look very interesting. I might have to give those a try. Thanks!!!

Mary:

You can sub the upper part of Bodymax for CTX Upper Body or you could use Pyramid Upper Body although that is a different style of lifting. CTX Upper is just straight lifting more for endurance.

I assume when you said Kickbox you meant either Cardio Kicks or KPC for CTX Kickbox, and yes, either of those will work. CTX is only about 30 minutes, I think. So you could just do a longer workout with the other two or shorten them down.

IMAX2 is trickier. You need a workout that has intervals. The step portion of MIC has some intervals at the end, but only three. The Step Blast Challenge has intervals (I think). You could piece those together maybe. Or CTX Step and Intervals (if you have it) would work. That's all I can think of now.

HTH,
Carla
