Which Cathe Cardio to try next?

Hi there,

I am fairly new to Cathe workouts. I have Basic Step, Low Impact Step, and High Step Circuit. I can handle advanced weight workouts no problem, but I tried Low Max about a year ago and I guess I just was not ready for it. I found the choregraphy to be too complex. I reallly enjoy Cathe's weight workouts and I love her intermediate step workouts. I would love to try one of her more complex cardio workouts, maybe just somthing easier than Low Max. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!
Sherry

You could try her Classics or Cardio Hits. Those would be the next step up as far as complexity. Her Interval Max on the Rhythmic Step+ DVD is also basic choreography although the blasts are a challenge. Maximum Intensity Cardio is also on that same DVD. The choreography in that one is not that difficult either. Although the hi/lo is basic choreography, it is very challenging. When you really master Cathe's choreography (after you master Low Max) you could try Rhythmic Step. As far as weight workouts, you could try the Push/Pull-Supersets DVD for full body workouts.

Check out the Rythmic Step DVD. It has one of my all time favorites, Interval Max (Imax).

It is intense, advanced and has very basic choreography! You also get RS and MIC. Both are great workouts as well!:7

Many people also recommend her earlier step workouts as they break down the workout more than the newer ones. This is 2nd hand, however. The earlier step workouts are among the few Cathe workouts I'm missing!;(

I would have to second the Classics DVD or Cardio Hits. Personally, I would go for the Classics as it has Power Max on it...I think that is easily one of Cathe's best and most fun step workouts. The choreography is more basic and she breaks the moves down a lot more.

Hey, thanks everyone for the suggestions. I will probably start with Cardio Hits and go from there.

you might want to try her new low impact cardio, too.... the choreography is easy but fun.. the whole workout is fun!

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

If it's been a year since you tried Lo Max you may want to dust it off and try again...:) I am really a klutz and after a few tries ( and learning the basic moves from the videos you listed;-) ) I managed to learn Lo Max..I broke it down using the premixes and that really helped a lot.

I would not reccommend Rythmic Step yet...I think it is pretty complex choreography...Imax 2 is pretty basic but VERY intense}( ...you can always just do the step part and skip over the blasts until you are ready. I have the Classics...and they do break down the moves...but I got bored with them pretty quick..and the outfits can be a little off putting:eek: ...don't get me wrong...it's just that if you are used to the newer DVDs..these may not seem as good...

Anyway...good luck and happy shopping!:)
