EVery week I vacuum under the dresser and bed. Every week there are dust bunnies the size of a Great Dane. Where the heck do they come from and how the heck do they get under there?

You vacuum under your bed and dresser every week!?!?!?!?!?

I think I vacuum under mine maybe once or twice a year whether it needs it or not. Of course, my dresser has to be pulled out from the wall because the vacuum won't fit under it so I figure nobody can see under there anyway. As for the bed? Ah! Who cares! LMAO!

I vaccuum under the bed as far as the vaccuu cleaner reaches. I know where mine come from....it called, "the 4th cat"!!! They all hide and sleep under our bed!

Personally, I think that they secretly lay eggs that hatch on a weekly basis! You just don't get to them in time before they mate!

I don't know, but it is at our house too. Sometimes I get so fed up with dust, I skip it. It is a never ending cycle. I think ours comes from the heavy draperies and bedding in our bedroom. My mother has all hardwood, and the bunnies are rampant. I am thankful my vacuum cleaner can reach without having to move the furniture. Melissa

Maybe that's why they are called dust 'bunnies' (the reproduce quickly).

My solution: just leave them until you are able to grab a huge mass at once.

Actually much of it is from vaccuuming (& sweeping if you have to do that too). Vaccuums kick up a lot of dust, which is why you're supposed to do it before you dust your furniture & stuff.

Other than the vaccuum explanation I got nothing. I have 3 animals so I know from where my bunnies come. :p

No problem finding them in my house. The "bunnies" just attach themselves to the dog fur and bird feathers and voila, one big ball of dust "grandpa rabbit".:D

Do you really want to know? <shudder>

I saw a ghastly Today show segment about dust in our bedrooms. 80% of it is composed of skin flakes. So it actually comes from...you!

>So it actually comes
>from...you!

Aha! I knew there was a reason my a$$ was so freakin' fluffy!

I have heard about the dust being dead skin also. But with 2 labs in the house, all I see is dog hair, and lots of it!!!:)
