Where did summer go??

It flew by so fast.. It seams the older I get the quicker time goes. I do love fall though, its so beautiful and the temperature is just perfect. You can keep winter though, uch!!
 
I know, I'm feeling a little down--no more weekends down the shore. Thanks for reminding me how beautiful fall can be (at least here in the northeast), it makes me feel a little better.:)
 
It goes where it always goes this time of the year: The Southern Hemisphere!

I'm a New Englander, too, who's sad to see the summer go. This year, seemed particularly short. What really brings me down is "falling back" and losing daylight. Autumn in New England is glorius but "shorter" days make me blue.
 
I, too, cannot believe summer is almost over. I love summer and fall is fine, but I wish summer would return AGAIN after fall! :7 We Ohioans have had an awful summer due to the abundance of rain. Waaah!

I know what you mean; you blink twice and the summer is almost over. The only good thing for me is that I scheduled my vacation this year for the end of September, so I still have that to look forward to.
 
Yes, the summer did zoom by... in the blink of an eye. The other day I found myself looking at a pair of sandals I own and thinking "I'm going to wear those a lot more this summer, they're really cute." And then HELLO! Um, summer's nearly over! Wierd.

But I do love the Fall. It is my absolute favorite season of all! I just love the changing seasons and am always ready for the next one. Fall will always be my favorite. Sharing a blanket and readng a book while my BF (soon to be hubby in 8 short months!) watches football, burning candles, watching the trees turn, cooking chicken and dumpling soup, drinking hot chocolate, getting ready for Thanksgiving... I look forward to everything about this season. ;-)
 
Yes, I too love all those goodies of fall, my favorite is sleeping with the window open (when there is a little chill to the air) and sleeping under a big comforter with brand new flannel jammies..wierd huh? I love it though... But after fall, comes winter, I am from Illinois and it bites big time!! I hate it, its so depressing and ucky!! I agree with above poster summer..fall..summer..fall that is a good seasonal rotation, yes!!

Yesterday I noticed the little purple flowers in the grass that
have always signified the end of winter and the return of the
Spring and Summer.
I agree, I like Autumn best as well... but Spring and Summer
hark the end of asthma season.. thank you, thank you!

No.. you are exactly right.. The beginning of Spring and Summer have always meant the beginning of new things for me especially when you've been couped up inside for too long, it's a beautiful time of year. It's what life is meant to be.

I agree..that is why I detest winter, I hate being couped up and cold..enjoy your summer..fall is about to make an appearance here, I love fall too..the crisp air, beautiful foilage, halloween... Have fun and dont sweat too much and enjoy cuz summer is soo short:7
 
You got me there!! haha Ok I'll rephrase... Sweat like a dog with Cathe and stay cool the rest of the day ( thats the way I like it) haha
