When your in the mood to eat.....

I mean REALLY eat, what do you do?

I had my breakfast earlier and then around 10:30 ish, the mood just hit me. I wasn't hungry, just wanted to eat. Prehaps if I had some gum in the house it may have helped.
Instead I ended up having a handful of pretzels, a taste of cake, a taste of a brownie,the crust from DS's grilled cheese sandwich,then my lunch, then a choc covered strawberry! LOL I wouldn't call it a binge cause it wasn't a huge lot of cals and I didn't gorge myself...just a pick here and there.
Its passed now so hopefully the day will resume as normal and I will get a good workout in.

I eat 5 small meals a day so "hopefully" this wouldn't happen too often.:) If I'm at work and I've had a good snack and I still want something I go for a cup of black coffee. Usually does the trick - water won't do it for me!

If I'm home, I try to find something to do - walk outside, it will get me away from food!!!x(
 
Lori,ive also found that if i haven't had enough protein that urge will hit me! im not hungry,but want to eat?

last night i was SO in the same boat,i ended up drinking alot of crystal light:+...after about 15mins(and after i removed myself from the kitchen,lol) it was gone:)
 
I drink a 100 calorie protein shake made with extra ice so it's extra thick.

I use Metabolic Drive low carb chocolate and it comes out of the blender as thick as a Wendy's Frosty! It's as creamy too.
That kills all my cravings and it's low cal.
