Hi everybody! Happy Saturday morning!

What's on your list this year for things FITNESS AND OTHERWISE that you'd like Santa to bring to YOU?

This happens every year. As usual, my sons and DH are bugging me for gift ideas, and I'm a little stumped because what's on my list so far is all fitness-related, which thrills me but makes my men about as excited as me asking for socks. They prefer to mix it up a bit. So I thought I'd scavenge for some cute ideas from you folks. :7

Here's what I've got on my Santa list so far:

Biking shoes and some new bike shorts for my spin class
New lifting gloves
A heavy bag (this may not happen either, but it'd be nice -- I'm planning ahead to do
some boxing with Cathe some day ;-))
An OhMyBod Cathe outfit from Sharon at ActiveYou

Can't wait to see what you all say!

Ok, I'm changing my mind. The Rav4 is great and all. My Dad just had a setback at Mayo, we thought he would be outpatient status next week.
My new wish list is that my Dad recovers and then some from this setback as of today. The doctors were amazed with his progress this week.

>I don't have one. There isn't anything I want that I don't
>already have. I'm not much for material things.:)

I feel the same way.. This year I have really been blessed.. I have bought ALL of Cathe's workouts, plus a lot of other instructors' workouts, and my husband bought me a new SUV in July.. now it is time for me to focus on my kids for Christmas, it is always about them at Christmas!!! :) :)

we are trying to buy a house and are wrestling with the idea of "calling off" the barrage of gifts as we have such a large family (except for the kids). My SO and I would just choose one thing we really want from each other...

For me, either the HRM I am looking into or a DVD recorder (dying to tape some of Cathe workouts I can't afford right now on FitTV along with some others).

Thankfully, our families have been receptive. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the HRM or DVD recorder!

Ohmigosh, you guys, am I ever feeling materialistic! :-(

I hope it goes without saying that I couldn't care less if my family gives me any stuff. Lord knows how blessed I am already. That being said, if they're going to buy presents, I would rather they spend their money on things that would be meaningful or enjoyable to me. Which is how the lists keeps ending up being all fitness gear. ;-)

My kids are going to be very happy this year, and that' what matters. I have a huge list, p90X, elliptical, HRM, etc. I am not holding my breath though, I'll be happy watching the kids!

Well, my list is absolutely huge. I alway write things down that I want when I think about it or come across it somewhere. However, I refuse to ask for anything, as my parents/grandmother bought me a new car since I hadn't had anything to drive for months. I was fine without, and even insisted on just getting a bike so I wouldn't need to rely on other people so much. But, they are great and now we're all in the poor house :).

The one thing I do desperately need, though, is pants. The only two pairs of jeans I have have literally fallen apart. Any other pants I have, sweats, dress pants, casual pants, exercise pants, are falling off of me. Not only is it not exactly flattering, it's not quite appropriate to be doing down dog in yoga with my pants around my ankles. So, I'll see if I can somehow get something to wear :D. And since we've been running in this cold weather, I realize I do desperately need cold-weather gear of some sort. Not sure what to do about that, either... :p
