What would you do?

This is such a wierd question. Every time the Tour de France bike race starts each year it reminds me of an old friend/boyfriend from high school that was into cycling (did triathalons and even shaved his legs). We dated for about 3 months when I was a freshman and him a sophmore. Even though we weren't dating we were in the same group of friends for the 3 years I knew him and basically were around each other every day/weekend. But after he graduated I didn't really see him much. So I Googled his name and I "think" he co-owns a bike shop in South Carolina called Summit Cycles. Not 100% sure it's him but a picture from the back/side kind of looks like him. When I click on his name it takes me to an email. If you were me would you email him? Just to say hi and that I think it's great he is doing what he loves. Would it be wierd or even out of line? I've always wondered what happened to him. I am not a risk taker AT ALL and would probably feel like a fool doing it.

You're married, right? How would you feel if you found out that your husband was e-mailing an old flame? I know if it was me, I'd be really upset.

I agree with Shelly. If I found out my hubby emailed a past girlfriend, I would be a little upset too.

Ditto what Shelley said unless you tell your husband BEFORE you do it and he has not problem with it.

I can see what you mean. Even though it'd be just a friend saying hello (no romantic interest) I guess it's a bad idea since we did kind of date back in HS.

Anything we keep secret, will eventually come out. No doubt about it. I can relate and testify.

Just like the girls said, I have to think what DH would say if I told him, & how I would react if I didn't & he found out, & what I would do if it him doing it was him doing it to me. Kali
