Hi,
I'm trying to pick a rotation for the next month or so and am stuck. I want to burn fat - main priority. But I've recently finished P90X, and enjoy the heavy weight training.
Do you think it truly makes a difference whether one does a "fatloss" rotation (mucho cardio, endurance-type weight training), versus a "strength" rotation (less cardio, heavy weight training)?
I personally tend to think the key to fat/weight loss is about what you put in your mouth, not about the specific type of exercise you do. It's just important to do some kind of activity almost daily, and eat well.
What do you think? If I want to lose bodyfat, do I *need* to do intense cardio 5-6 days a week, combined with endurance weight training? Or can I get away with cardio 3 days a week, and heavy weight training the other three? It goes without saying that I'm eating clean.
Thanks for your opinions,
Sandra
