What kind of rotation are you doing?

Well, ladies, this recent bout of warmish weather has me thinking seriously on the bathing suit season which is now hurtling towards us at mach speed. I'll be happy to be out of the wind and the cold (even though it's supposed to snow this weekend! bah!), but I am now seriously reconsidering my current (non)rotation and wondering what everyone else is doing.

So... what rotation are you doing? how long? are you solo or working with a buddy/group? what results are you looking to achieve?

Curious,
Marie

I am two weeks away from finishing my first ever P90x rotation - yay! I'm going to do a month or so of mish-mosh style, little of this, little of that, and then in May pick up another P90x rotation, lean or classic.

Im doing my own rotation.Sort of like the Tank Top Rotation but I am working LB 2 x a week and I am using the GS workouts and not PS.I am also doing alot of running.
I see a bit of difference in my legs, mostly by bum and hamstrings.I seem to be slimming a little in the hip area as well.No real changes in the UB yet but I am just going into my 4th week.I am thinking of changing it up a little next week or I may wait until the end of the month.
I am getting stonger though.I can lift a bit heavier for some reps and I have been doing all of the push ups in GS Chest.

Started P90X last week, and supplementing with a little Cathe, a little TLT, and a little running or ellipticizing! I'm really liking Tony! Thinking about going doubles in my second month!

I'm doing cathe's Aug 04 rotation focusing on legs/glutes and body fat loss. I'm just starting my 3rd week. Also 2x a week I go to an exercise class at the fitness center which is cardio+sculpt for 45mins each time!

take care:)

I'm not really doing a rotation, but am working to increase the amount I lift for upper body, and am kind of fooling around with options for the legs. I really think lifting heavy works best there, too.

Debating whether to omit my rest day and add an extra day of cardio. But I do like my rest days.

I actually took the rotation calendar from firmdirect and plugged in my own workouts. I'm focusing on total body workouts at the moment because my goal is weight loss. My schedule looks like this. I'm solo on this rotation.

Day 1 - Cardio ( 45-60 ), Coremax
Day 2- Maximum Intensity strength
Day 3 - Rest !
Day 4- Cardio , abs
Day 5- The firm Body Sculpt with Cardio later in the day
Day 6- Cardio, abs
Day 7- Rest

I do cardio at least 5 times a week and stretch at least 3 times a week.

I'm doing cardio daily with one u/b part per day and legs every day.
I just needed a less intense rotation after doing Cathe's killer January rotation last month!}(

My cardio is alternating between a ctx cardio and a rebounder work out.
My u/b body part per day is from ctx.
My leg work is alternating between walking lunges, Leaner Legs, GS floor work and a short routine with a variety of lunges and squats in it that I made up myself. Some days I use light weights and some days I use no weights.

I am doing a training program for the mini marathon. I do it by me onesies or with my kick @ss mom because nobody wants to run as far as I do. :p

doing heavy weights 3day splits with moderate amount of high intensity cardio and two days of pilates.

ETA:i have running twice a week anywhere from 2-5 miles a day, just to say i did it LOL. been walking alot but that is more for recreation rather then workout.

Hi Marie! My rotation this week looks like this:

Sat: Muscle Max
Sun: Step Blast + Stretch Max (stability ball)
Mon: Muscle Endurance
Tues: Debbie Burns's kickboxing section in 2 Workouts in 1 from CIA
(she's my favorite kickboxing instructor)
Wed: Muscle Intensity Strength
Thurs: Pilates (Hilary Burnett's)
Fri: REST

I'll most likely stick w/this for 4 weeks changing up the kickboxing & step w/outs & switching MIS w/Power Hour. Also will most likely switch up the ab sections for Core Max. Otherwise, everything else will stay the same.

I put together a rotation at the beginning of the month that includes a bit more strength training and a bit less cardio than I'm used to. I'm not sure about it yet. Even after Saturday's GS marathon, I still felt like I hadn't worked out and that I should do some cardio.

I just got done doing the Tropical Island Workout. You get up real early in the morning, hike to a quiet beach and lay in the sun or shade (your preference) until you decide to go snorkeling. You swim and snorkel for about an hour or two, then lay on the beach some more, stretching your mind with a good book. Then you for a quick hike to a lovely vista overlooking the ocean, back to the beach for a healthy lunch of fresh bread with spinach/artichoke spread and an orange. Follow with some more sun, snorkeling, and hike back to the car. Cool down with a shower and go out to eat some delicious seafood. Another workout, this time with DH in the privacy of your own room, followed by a good night's sleep. Repeat for at least 6 days. It did wonders for me.

I'm doing Cathe's Jan '06 workout on my own. If you're looking to lose weight this one will do it for you. I lost 8 pounds in Jan when I did it the first time. So far I've lost 4 this month. I'm trying to lose the last 6 pounds(maybe more depending on what I look like when I get there:7)

Hi Marie! I am doing Fat Loss and Definition which is July 03'. I'm only on week 2 and have not weighed or measured since starting it, but I am really enjoying it.

We'll have to start a "get ready for summer" check in soon like last year now that bathing suit season is just around the corner!

Hope all is well with you and your family!

I am doing my first rotation of P90X - I am in my second week like Lorrie and really enjoying it so far. I can see some changes too. I was doing a lot of the P90X & P90 Masters before I started the official rotation last week.

I am finishing a P90X rotation and after my recovery week I will do P90X Doubles using Cathe S&H & GS in place of P90X, plus running the long distance I need to do...:)
