What is safe to drink out of?

I drink filtered water from my faucet. I fill plastic containers and chill them. Now, I hear this may not be safe. Tell me what is safe and where to get it.

It's funny: I asked my husband and he said "Go to your web site and ask them. They'll know." Smart man!!!

I tend to drink the water straight out of my tap so I'm not the one to ask! LOL

I buy bottled spring water on occasion because DH asks for it. I do have to admit it tastes better but I hate spending the money on it for some reason.

I think you need to do what you are comfortable with. IMO someone will find fault/unhealthy factors in ANYTHING and EVERYTHING we consume at some point. If you let yourself get wrapped in it all you'll eventually have nothing left to drink or eat cause they will declare it all bad for you at some point! ACK!x(

I use stainless steel, glass and ceramics, always.

Polycarbonate is better than most plastics, but still possibly iffy (especially if it heats up).

Another happy SIGG user here! I ordered two, but only received one at first because the 2nd pattern was out of stock. The company ended up sending me a 3rd one for free because of the extra wait - love 'em!!!! :9
