What I have decided

Cathlete
Wonderful tips and input you have all given me I have researched and listened. Thank YOu from the bottom of my heart and this is what I am going for.

Fruits and veggies
Cutting out white bread and slathering the butter on will switch to whole wheat
No snacking after 7 p.m.
Eating breakfast using all the ideas I have picked up from all of you.
I will not completely deprive myself of the sweets just limit to a sample
No FAST FOOD I will find an alternative
Make sure those ingredients listed are in the first 5
Include Protein bars in my day (Can I eat one after a workout)?

I need to be realistic and start making small changes I do not want to be set up for a failure.

I will not completely cut out the weight lifting I will keep 2 days of the week a circuit with the weights.

I am going to a spinning class every Saturday

Going to a Gym on Tuesday evenings for the machines

This is my start and I am excited. Now did I leave anything significant out?

Beth,

Sounds like a great start! Remember to get plenty of rest too, and go easy on yourself mentally if you slip up!

Good luck!

You sound determined and you also have a detailed great plan! Good luck with your goals! I have many of the same goals, too! Good luck!

Beth.
Think positive and don't be hard on yourself. You can do it!!
And, as Cathe says, "Don't fear a challenge, embrace it."

Happy New Year!!
