What are your fave DVD's right now?

I could use some ideas b/c I keep using the same DVD's. Basically I"m using PP/SS, GS Legs, GS B/S/B and LowMax (although I have about 75% of all of Cathe's DVD's). I mostly walk every day or use the elliptical for cardio (with LowMax thrown in every once in awhile). What are your fave workouts right now? I feel like I"m stuck in a rut.

Thanks ladies. :)

GSL, LM, MM, PUB, PLB, ME, L&G - that's me, basically what I own but no kickboxing workouts - other than KM standing portion.

I am not sure if you're looking for cardio or strength, but what about an old video? I keep meaning to do Step Max- section 3 reminds me A LOT of LowMax. It's old but doesn't seem terribly dated.

I went through all my videos in preparation for a neighborhood yard sale and found a bunch that I will either sell (MIS for one) or keep.

What about some yoga or pilates? We have Netflix and I order yoga/pilates stuff all them time. by the time I am bored, I send it back for something else.

thanks again for recommending Timesaver to me (I think that was you)- it's been fun and easy to work into my schedule. I hope to do them all (sans kickbox) this week.

I just did Step Max last week, and of the three combos, I personally found the third combo to be too high impact, and the most challenging to modify. I did Step Jam recently and found it more to my liking. I imagine we're all different wrt how much impact we can tolerate. I don't want much.

Another one that might be good would be Step Heat, if you can stand the excessive break down of the choreography.

The SB/SJP dvd has some great premixes that I'm finding very useful these days.

Do you have either the Cardio Hits or Classics dvds? They each contain 3 "older" workouts. I intend to start creating my own workouts using these, by mixing up combos from each of the workouts. For example, I might do Step Max combos 1 & 2, followed by Step Jam combo 3.

KickMax's low-impact premix is really, really good. KPC's 4th premix is "intermediate", and I enjoy it very much. I do all the kicks grounded.

MIC's step portion is 30 minutes, and if you do it on a lower step and take out the high impact, it's a great workout. That's also the case with Body Max's step portion.

Know what we need? A list of Pregnancy Mish Mosh workouts, similar to how Aquajock puts together her death-defying mixes on the open forums. Maybe we can work on that as a group?

Cheers,
Sandra

Anything I can easily modify to suit my prego bod! ;)

Honestly though...ME is the BEST weight work out for a prego because everything but chest is done in a standing or sitting position. Minimal messing with inclines, etc.

As far as the cardio...I am really enjoying the Step Blast premix that leaves out the blast/challenge and Low Max, ofcourse...but any cardio works accept for hi-impact. When I modify the hi-impact I just don't feel challenged so I don't do it often at all....
