I was woken up around 4:30 by...and earthquake tremor! Here in the midst of the Illinois corn and soy fields!
That was a strange experience: I felt like it must be what a mild epileptic seizure feels like, but the windows were rattling, so I knew it wasn't just me!
The cats' reactions ranged from freaked out (Pete and Rascal), to concerned (Simon) to unaware (Bobsie).
Anybody else in a normally 'quake-free zone who got shaken and stirred?
