wendy...

I have had 2. One right away in the first tri and one at 20 weeks (2nd tri). I won't be having anymore to my knowledge UNLESS there is coz for concern...

I think some docs will do one each tri....it's really a personal preference on how they want to do things.

thanks for the answer. i was just wondering because since i have fibroids my dr. was concerned during my first pregnancy and i had alot of u/s. now with this pregnancy, this dr. does not seem concerned about the fibroids so they are not doing as many u/s..and i am hoping to be able to see the little one as least one more time...

No problem at all.

How many u/s have you had so far with this pregnancy? 1 or 2..or more even?

I would love to have a u/s done in the 3rd trimester but if you don't do it early enough you can't even see your baby entirely b/c he's too big to get in one picture!

so far just 2. the one in the dr.'s office when the baby is just a blurb..;o)
and the second one during the second trimester.
during my first pregnancy i got one all the way up til 36 weeks! it was great because i could really see him and already knew he was gonna be perfect!!!

Having a pregnancy that causes enough concern to have so many u/s's is not something a pregnant woman WANTS but to be able to see your baby grow like you were able to had to be amazing!!! I'm glad that you took something so wonderful and positive out of
the experience!:)
