WELL???? Come on Potter fans

Just finished it. Wow!!! Not giving anything away. Made me happy, made me sad, made me laugh, made me cry. What to do now that it is all over?

Hee Hee...not much help am I!

Valerie

WOW Valerie - you FINISHED IT? When did you get it - did you go to a midnight gathering? I guess it it hit that whole range of emotion, then it was a success eh? Well done.

(Hey do you know what book I saw that has been re-released that I read in like the 4th grade? "From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankenweiler" I was so excited that I picked it up for my kids. Super good read for kids - at least that's how I remember it.)

Back to Mr. Potter.

Just finished it about an hour ago.Thought it was great! She was very true to her characters. I shed tears of sadness and joy. I'm anxious to hear how others feel.

I also want to add that I read any and every "spoiler" I could find. Not one of them was true or even close to the ending! One did have a few true things about the epilogue and another one had some chapter summaries, but they were vague. Enjoy reading!

I didn't pick it up until this morning and have been super-busy in the garden all day, so I sat down after dinner and started reading. So far, I'm loving it! Ane yeah, the spoilers I read were wrong too. Well, some of them anyway.

I've already cried though:(

I did my best to avoid the spoilers. Out of the few I heard/read one was partially right. My husband and I went to the midnight thing and picked up two copies. I read for a bit when I got home and then we both spent most of the day reading. Luckily our son had a new 900 piece lego set to build. Such the nerd family!

I just finished reading it (I was avoiding all contact with the outside world until I was done - I didn't want to have it spoiled for me). It was truly wonderful. Like others have said, I laughed, and cried... tears of sadness and tears of joy. I felt intense fear and incredible victory. And now... well... I'm a bit sad that it's all over. It was a wonderful journey. :)

Isn't that new book like 785 pages, and you ladies already read it..
I will stick with Thomas the train.. LOL..

My UPS guy wasn't happy with them boys.. Said they were heavy.. Our depot got 35,000 of them the other day...

L-O-V-E-D it!!! Finished it last night at about 11:00 (I didn't get it until 10 am yesterday). It was so very well written, conceived, imagined.

But yeah, what to do now that it's over :-( :)

I am waiting to pick mine up at the Post Office tomorrow, we missed the delivery yesterday, BOOOO!!!

Anyways, soon I will be able to join you all for a major gabfest!!!

Loved it thoroughly! I also got it around 10 a.m. yesterday (2 copies, one for me, one for DD) Read it all day while traveling home from vacation. (Flashlight for the final hour home from the airport from 9 to 10 p.m.) Really, really a wonderful book! J.K. Rowling outdid herself. BUT, I have a question for someone who's done reading it. Anyone interested?

Chocolate IS the answer, regardless of the question.

Is it okay to PM you my question? (I don't want to post a spoiler)

Loved it. Twisty and turny, but wrapped up the whole story nicely. I would swear Ms Rowling had the whole plot mapped out from book 1. The way it all came together was really good. Some laughs and some tears on this end, and I am not a cryer. I started yest afternoon about 3 and read til about 9, with just a dinner break and a bath break. Picked it back up about 930 this morn, and finished about noon. I just tore thru it. I really liked it. Now I have to wait for hubby to read it, so we can discuss. He reads slowly, too. Going to drive me batty!!
