<-- LOL even more when it started to RAIN at the picnic (first rain since April and it was 80s last weekend)
<-- met his new coworkers and they seem really nice and also really relaxed
<-- liked that they were relaxed in a confident and laid back kind of way
<-- mentioned it to DH on the drive back to the train and he said the new job is "work hard and we'll promote you" and the old job was "you have to work hard and if you do we might think about promoting you" which is why he thinks the new job is better than the old job
<-- is happy to say <-- finished bus org reading on the train
<-- is now moving on to crim pro reading for Tuesday!
<-- explains this means <-- has read bus org for Mon but not Wed, Tax for Mon and Wed, but not for consumer protection Wed and not crim pro for Tues or Thurs (yet)
<-- will try and read until DH comes home

Hi all!

Thank you all so much for your kind words, prayers, and vibes. My MIL's surgery proved to be a little more involved than anticipated. She came through it just fine but her blood pressure bottomed out in the recovery room. She is awake and alert and stable, but her pressure is quite low so they took her to the ICU. My FIL is doing okay but as I've stated in the past, he has trouble getting around and needs assistance. This day proved to be too long for him and he is utterly exhausted. We took him home and got him a bite of dinner and hopefully, settled down for the night. I may not be around tomorrow, so I just want to thank you all again for your kindness and support. You gals are THE BEST!!
