weird underwear question

Ok,I'm used to wearing your basic bikini underwear. Low rise in front, total coverage in back. My DH got me these low-rise boy short things from VS for my Bday. Well, there is virtually no coverage in back. This may be TMI (too much info) for some of you, but my butt cheeks are out there! It's a driving-me-crazy, have-to-pull-it-down kind of feeling to me, so I don't think I'll ever get used to this kind of underwear. Does anyone wear these things? Do you eventually get used to it? Or should I just take the ones with the tags back to the store (if they'll even take them back). Maybe I'm just one of those sensory-sensitive type people, but if my underwear isn't feeling right, well, I'm not happy.

I can't wear boy shorts under pants though I think they are the cutest thing in women's undies. I tried but the whole time I was resisting the urge to reach back and yank 'em down. I do wear them to bed though, with tanks and tshirts.

I agree, and have actually taken back a pair from VS that still had tags. I can't even wear them to bed unlike Sparrow.
Have you tried the hipsters that VS makes? They still give you that cute low cut and a little "cheekage", but don't feel like the seam is riding up your crack as much. Maybe that was TMI, but hey...

I'm also a basic bikini underwear person as well. I bought a pair of those boyshort type, just to try them out. The took a little getting used to, but I liked them. To me, it just felt like how you have to get used to the thong thingy (I don't like them, but have a couple for "just in case" outfits).
 
My butt absolutely does NOT fit into any VS underwear! Don't give up on the boy shorts, though; I have a number of pairs from other makers I just adore!!! No more bikinis for me... ever!
 
I,too, am a basic bikini girl....and I have NEVER been a thong girl!;-) But I do like the boy shorts....I wear them with tight fitting jeans...and the jeans seem to keep them in place...Once I do a little rearranging:p . I did have a problem with my first pair being slightly too small, but with the next pair I went up a size (XS to S) and that seemed to work. Just wear the one pair you have already taken the tags out of until you get used to them or decide they are not the right size or just not for you...but my DH really likes them too!:)

This is hilarious! I really needed that belly laugh after doing college alumnae work on the computer for several hours!:7 :7 I love thongs and love boy shorts and often skip the undies altogether! I'd rather choke than have a panty line - ick!:eek: The husband loves that rear exposure and I guess I'm just used to it. Plus, it inspires me to work out harder!!!:p
 
I had the same trouble. The girl at the store said that is how they fit. I did not buy them, I couldn't imagine walking around with my rear hanging out and having straight across panty lines. Melissa
 
That is how they fit me too. My DH thinks there are very sexy. Most likely yours does too seeing how he bought them. I never get used to them. Just save them to wear with a tank top to bed. Your DH will be very happy i bet:)
 
I don't wear them out in public (I have a flat rear end so thongs are best for me) but I love them for working out with a tank top or sports bra.
 
The Hanes Perfect Panties are now in Target in CA (I think they've been elsewhere in the country for months). They are my favorite! They won't ride anywhere, won't show, they are just a bit seethru so if your DH minds that then don't try them. }(
 
I personally love the type of underwear you are talking about but I also wear and love thongs so I may be the wrong person to ask!:p

I started wearing thongs first and it took some time to get used to them but eventually I did and I grew to love them so you may want to give the new undies a chance! You never know!:)
 
I also like the cheekage and once I got used to how they fit they made me feel really sexy! I have no cleavage on top, so I take what I can get. BTW I recently saw a really cute new line of underwear and bras at Nordstroms called Honeydew Intimates--check out their website. So cute!

I love boy shorts, so comfy and no panty lines. I don't remember having to get used to them. Way better than wearing a thong, I hate those.
 
Amy, I found Honeydew in Hawaii and bought a bunch of stuff!!! Their stuff seems cut like Victoria's Secret (which means my butt doesn't fit well into them) but it is all too cute to pass up!!!

And I will also wear thongs whenever it suits me. I figure with bikinis, that's where they end up anyway, so why not wear a thong and have less material to cram there??:p
