Weight Watchers

Cathlete
So, I joined the online Weight Watchers deal. I really only have about 7 lbs. to lose (NOT loose - ha ha), but I figured it could be helpful.

So anyway....I tried a couple of their Smart Ones entrees this week to take to work with me...and they're really pretty darned good! I was definitely pleasantly surprised. Just finished the chicken enchiladas.

For those of you who work outside of the home, what do you take to lunch? I really can't be putting recipes together in our little break room.

I don't work outside the home right now, but when I did, I often would prep veggies & fruits to pack with me for lunch. Snack size cottage cheese, tuna kits with the whole wheat crackers, dinner leftovers, cut up chicken/turkey on salad...the list goes on. What do you like/dislike?

I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three.

Okay, lol. Scratch those off your list. You can have chicken/turkey/whatever cooked from the weekend to put on a sammich (in a wrap or on bread) or in a salad. I know people take steel cut oats in from batches they make. Veggies wraps are good, too. Soup...not always exciting but easy. Either make your own or find a brand that is decent. Fresh fruit salad (even over yogurt w/ some granola. There are lots of things, Donna. I know it's a pain in the you know what to do prep work but it does make it really easy for the week. I bet others will have some good ideas. AHEM ;)

Things I bring to work:
Steamed vegies
Salad
vegetables "stir fry" made the night before
a whole wheat pita with hummus, spinach, and tomatoes.
brown rice
fruit
Sometimes I'll get those frozen Amy's dinners (in the health food section) I just figure the points and then know what I've got. They're pricey though.
nonfat yogurt with bananas

Good luck!
