Weight-loss checkin

Steppingup

Cathlete
Where are all you weight loss people? Does anybody have anything to report?

I have not done that great. I am about the same weight wise. I cannot seem to get those last 5 pounds off. My life has really been busy these past couple of weeks and even though I have worked out 6 days a week they are not terribly intense ones. So, I haven't gained but I haven't lost either.

What is everyone else up to (or down to)?

Kelly

Hi Kelly I was just thinking of posting on the weight loss....so if you hadn't I probably would have.

I can't seem to budge my #s much either....but I have more to lose (20 if I could but I'd settle for 15) and I had thought that if I really gave effort to it more would lbs would come off...but it is very slow. I'm not up at all and maybe down a lb or two (it depends on how I stand on the scale) ;-)

I'm going to try to up my # of weight days and see if that will give things a boost. I'm back on a PS rotation for the summer and have on order the 5 new Cathe tapes, so I have that to look forward to later on. I would like to lose fat so the muscles would show somewhat, but I do feel really good and I don't want to get obsessed with what I look like. This added fat is keeping me humble....if I looked too good I'd be going around flexing my muscles at everyone who would look. ;-)

Hope your business relaxes off somewhat....even if you didn't get too intense....you still worked out and you didn't gain...did you? :)

Progress

Hi!

I'm finally applying myself and making progress.

Nutrition is improving
I'm down from 215 to 205, my goal is 145 size 10 maybe 8.
Exercise improved to 4 to 5 days per week, goal is 6
8lb and 10lb weights are getting comfortable

My fav videos these days are by Cathe, The Firm, and Christy and a weekly/daily check-in with a great supportive group at Firms forum has been an enormous help.

Best wishes to all

RE: Progress

Good for you Crystal, you are really making progress. :)

I'm glad that you are getting support....even if it isn't here!

It sure is nice when the same weight you've always used feels lighter with all that nice muscle you are building.

You should be proud of yourself! :D
