I know this is the middle of the week but I wanted to know how everyone was doing.

My week has been so-so. I have eaten fairly well but my exercising has been a little low on energy. Life has been way toooo busy! I think since the weather has been so pretty (hot but pretty) I will start walking some outside just to throw in something different. I did this last year and it worked out pretty well.

How have YOU been doing?

Hi Kelly.....I'm glad you are pleased with your eating this week! It sure is difficult to get it all together when there is a lot going on in your life. The walking will be great for you...I would like to add more walking to me life too....it's great to be able to go outside :-cool with no coat on and walk in the warm sunshine.

I have done quite well too when I was home....it is when I am out that I live dangerously.

I think I may be down a pound or so, but I don't want to go by that....I'd rather go by how my clothes feel....not much of a change there, but I do feel really good.:)

I found a few low fat cook books that I had at home and had forgotten about so I had a look through them and have tried a few things. The books are Looney Spoons and Crazy Plates. They are written by two sisters and they have lots of nutritional information in them too! They are books you can read....not just get recipes from.

I hear you that it is hard to lose when you are so busy. I gained 65 lbs with my second preganacy- yes 65 pounds- enough for 2 pregancies!! And then we moved 300 miles, totally stressed, lived in a tiny apt. with 2 kids, were shopping for houses- excuses excuses I know, but it was not until we moved into a house we purchases, I had space to workout, and things settled down I was able to start to tackle this pounds. It does get hard when life distracts you though.

Susan, sounds like you have a great attitude.

As for my news- I'm down another 1 lb this week. I'm really loving weight watchers. I think the combo of weight watchers, cathe, the FIRM, and my treadmill/bike have been working wonders for me.

I'm not quite going to be ready to wear sleeveless this summer, but I'm hoping to at least wear shorts.
 
Hi Ladies,
I've had a pretty good week. Last week I went on vacation to the beach and of course gained a tiny bit, but I expected that. And I'm working pretty hard with cardio this week to make up for it. I'm still enjoying my new stepper. I've been adding 2 pilates ab workouts to my routine per week. Still not sure about this pilates thing but everybody swears by it, so I'm gonna keep trying. I'm not doing any strength training this week due to having strained my tricep. This weekend will be a challenge as far as eating goes. (My grandmother cooks and has an easter egg hunt). So I'm gonna try to eat very clean today and tomorrow so that I can have a treat on Sunday.
