Weight loss checkin 6-4-02

Hey Kelly,

Nope! :( No loss for last week, well, 0.5 inches from my chest/back, but no # loss.

My eating started going down the tubes at the BBQ last Monday and never quite recovered before the end of the week, so really I'm blessed to have broken even and maintained! :)

I'm striving hard to remain on track this week. You are so right about how good you feel when you maintain a clean diet, so why is it we stray in the first place?

A perk I can report is my fitness/endurance level improvement. Doing Imax every week has made a huge difference in my overall fitness level. My stamina during cardio has improved tremendously in the last few weeks. I no longer huff and puff through plyo moves and higher intensity moves. I feel them, but I can endure them without feeling breathless and near passing out! :) So thumbs down on the weight loss :(, but thumbs up on the endurance level! :)

Hi Everyone,

I noticed the thread never got started this week either. Anyway, I didn't lose anything. I maintained at 149 pounds. At least I did not gain! That is always good news.

I'm with you, Donna, on the IMax improving stamina thing. This week I did it on an 8-inch step and had to modify like crazy. It makes such a difference from the 6-inch step for IMax.

I am trying to eat more fruit and veggies to help with weight loss, plus lean meats, fish, and beans. I hope it helps when I get on the scale next week.

Have a great week everyone!

Guess it's better late than never. I've only posted a few times before. It took me 4 months to lose 9 lbs and only the last 4 weeks to gain back 5. I'm really down about it. I just had a bad month and stopped my food journal and stopped weighing myself. Although I know the number on the scale doesnt give the whole story, I find myself needing that number just for a reality check. So last night I hope I got all of my depression out of my system. Today is a whole new day. Wish me luck!!

I've decided to join this chek in. I've seen my weight creep up and everyday there is something that keeps me from staying on track. Right now I have the box of krispy kreme's my daughter gave me for my birthday, the box of see's candy my husband gave me, a cheese cake my employees gave me, and the cake from last nights party. I know the best thing for me to do is throw it all away (I think I'll freeze the see's candy-wrapped).

So, today I've lost 0. Today I'll write my plan for food for today and tomorrow and make sure I have the food available.

Maybe the accountability to this chek-in will help:).

welcome aboard!

Hi Elizabeth,

Welcome to the weight loss check in! :)

I know for me it really helps me stay accountable. Just knowing that I'm hoping to report a loss of pounds and/or inches every week helps me say "no" to many "high fat distractions."

We usually post at the beginning of each week, either Mon or Tue., so look for a new post in a few days. :)

Good luck next week with your eating plan, and gain or loss, we'll be here for you each week. :)
