Weight loss and exercise

Hi Cathe, I have discovered your exercise videos when I purchased a new step. I must say, they are the MOST difficult work-outs I have seen, and I've been stepping for 10 years or more.
My question to you is this: I have been in the process of losing weight now for a year and a half. I started at 220 and am currently at 170. I had been down to 160, but a series of events and am emotional eater and put on 10. I am 43 years old, in good health. What type of work-outs do you recommend I do? I have several of the Intensity series. When I do one of those work-outs, my knees give me problems, (probably from the barbell and all those squats) and some of the things on Boot Camp I can only dream of doing (like airborn jacks). I am interested to know, is it good for me to do both weights and cardio, what kind of cardio, what kind of weights, what days. I currenlty am struggling to get 4 days of work-out in, as I have 4 children, 3 of which are teens and am constantly in my van going somewhere. Anything you suggest would be most helpful. I am interested in calorie burn and higher metabolsim. I work-out in the afternoon, as my 16 year old daughter works-out with me. We love your work-outs, they are a lifesaver for us. We enjoy each part, and are quite challenged during them and after. Thanks for any help you can give, witty
