Hi ladies,

How is everyone's weekend been going so far?
Very busy one here & boy, it is hot! It's nearly midnight & 23 degrees.

Today I was doing moving stuff again to the new place. I REALLY like this new place even if the neighbourhood isn't quite as nice as this one :) .This evening I put in over three hours of apple picking. I am pooped from this functional fitness day. lol. Moving is going to be on hold for the next three days as DH has a medical procedure on Monday. This gives me some time to clean up this place a bit. Hoping I get a little sleep.

Hope to see you on the forum tomorrow or during the week!

Hi Elsie,

Thanks for getting us started. Sounds like your move is goibg well. I hope you will soon be able to sleep a lot before and just feel better overall.

It's the last weekend before my son comes back from his dad and bball season starts again so I am getting in lots of me time. I swapped my crocheting out for loomknitting yesterday and once I got the hang of it (thanks to YouTube) I could watch Netflix at the same time.

My workouts were:
- 52min step with some core & upper body
- 30 min Tracey Mallett F.I.T. which practically killed me. I have only tried TM on YouTube and all Barre style so I was not expecting such a tough w/o. Compund weight moves, light weights but long and some tough tabatas in between the weights rounds. Next time I do this w/o it will have to be as my first w/o not after I have already worked my butt off burning 500 cals with my first w/o. It is not a good add on for a tough w/o.
- 10min beginner pilates stretch by Lara Hudson. Hadn't done this one before. The TM did not have a strech section so I just picked a strech I had not done yet.

After dinner we went for a bike ride to the beach again. 40min going there through parks etc. Then walking around for a long time while my bf caught Pokemons. So much walking that FitBit saw it as exercise! Followed by 20min bike ride home.

Now it's Sunday morning and my body still needs to recover before my w/o's today.

Henriette, thanks. : ) Yes, it is going pretty well. We've purposely arranged everything to make it as minimally stressful as possible (and so that we do not kill each other in the process!!) I have never been so excited about sleep ...ever! ;) We will be moving across country in a couple - three months, so that one I will save all the stress for! lol.

Wow, excellent job on your workouts today (and all that cycling!) New workouts have a way of exhausting the muscles.
I have wanted to try this loomknitting for some time! Let us know how you like it. Maybe I will give it a try when we get into our new place!!
We just finished Endeavor on Netflix ..... really interesting show if you like not-so-dark detective shows. The music is beautiful.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Hi again,

I am more into crocheting but this simple loom knitting pattern is fun. Picked it b/c it was nice and simple.

It's rolling up at the sides but who knows what it will be like when done. It works up quickly. I am just using an old Rainbow loom from a few summers ago when the kids got me into that.

Hi everyone,

I am out of town but managed a hoco body blast workout yesterday plus a Pilates by Lisa workout. I also did a Suzanne Bowen Barre amped segment. Today I did another barre workout abd another pilates by Lisa.

It rained all of yesterday but cooled nothing down. Today is better.

Great to read how you are all doing. Good luck with your move Elsie and enjoy your last bit of free time henriette.

Hi ladies,

Today's workouts consisted of 57min high intensity aerobics followed by Tracey Mallett's Booty Barre Total New Body barre w/o. This barre was approx 30 min and more what I had expeted yesterday's add on to be. Barre is so tough without being high impact. I can really feel it strengthening my legs and hopefully one day I will really get the hang of it and also become more flexible like the dancers doing it. Good thing I never have an audience working out. I have done aerobics, combat, step etc in gyms in the past without any problems, but I don't think you will ever catch me doing Barre outside of my own home.

Hey Ceci ....getting in your workouts while out of town. Now there's dedication! HoCo looks so tough.
Oh ..thanks for that video Henriette. :) Excellent job on your workout. I know I do not look like the ladies teaching barre .....so straight! Oh well. lol.

This morning I did more apple picking, hauling etc. for about 3 hours. Then my workout was Cathe LIVE Fitness Fusion. Everything but the core segment. Really nice workout & really the pace I needed.
