I managed to get myself up to workout this AM before work. I only work 3 hrs in town today--so I'll have the entire afternoon to be with my boys---with my workout behind me!

It dawned on my yesterday that I didn't pay my bills last week. :( I have direct deposit & thought it'd be going in yesterday---but it had actually been there a week already. Oops! I best catch up on that today!

Cardio Coach 6 this AM---4.5 miles. This is my favorite I think.

Susan, are you still with us? taking a TTC break?

Trish, we didn't hear from you in the afternoon...are you off having your baby?

Lisa, I was in the 3rd trimester during Halloween with Justin was little. Trust me, you can NOT keep up with your little ones anyway...not that far in your pg---you'd be "weighing" them down (slowing them down)....so don't feel bad. It'll give DH bonding time!

Jessica, sounds like your keeping on track. Good job!

Jen #2, anything new? Have you looked into Medela replacement parts yet? eBay or online might be a great place. I collected my milk in "MILK MAID" bottle jars to save on milk bags. You can collect,freeze, and feed in the same container....just a thought on savings. That's really too bad that child support takes so much. I feel bad for Dads sometimes....with support and taxes they often bring home only 40% of their paychecks. :( Any thoughts on joint custody? ;)

Hi Melanie (and to all who follow). I hope at least a few would like to start that check-in!
Jen M: I need replacement parts for my Medella too since I am borrowing it. Babies R Us has all the parts you would need ( the flap, the shield, etc.).

Melanie-I use billpayer too, but sometimes I forget that a bill or two is NOT set up for auto payment and does require me to set it up:confused:.

I am off to some yard sales for some baby gear that I still need. Wish me luck! I am still looking pregnant:(, but getting more energy back every day. I am down to one percoset (in the evening), but soon will stop even that. I have been taking Motrin. Aidan continues to be a mellow fellow, and I usually have to wake him at night to feed him (my kind of baby)! last night, he wanted to party from 1-3, but he wasn't crying-just cooing and looking around. DS #1 has been testing the limits big time. DH will take him to "Hershey Park in the Dark" tonight (Hershey Park set up for Halloween) if he is good. Tomorrow, we are going again, but I will be sitting in wheelchair. there is NO way I can walk around that park yet with all it's hills!

DS #1 (Andy) is being spaghetti and meatballs for Halloween. The costume was SO easy to make, and I found it on familyfun.com. Check it out! DS #2 (Aidan) is a cow (his aunt bought his costume for him).

sorry i am behind in the checkin! I havent been too good about that lately.
Does this mean that Kate, Jen and everyone else who had babies recently wont be talking with us anymore in the pregnancy check in :( Boo...thats sad! I suppose after my baby comes i can join the other one, but still! LOL.

About my breast pump, i purchased it thursday for $150 from the girl. She said she never used it andsplit the cost wiht a friend here is what she wrote about the parts "The unused attachments that I have are tubes and breastshield w/ valves. I will also include some extra new bottle nipples that are sealed"
So..do i need to buy anything else? Im not sure what the best way is to sterilize things. THere are soooo many peices and parts, i just dont know where to begin and i have NO IDEA how to use the darn thing. guess i should take a look at the instructions!

im happy tos ay i have all the nursery furniture now. Yesterday i purchased a white, open shelf changing table. she said she got it at pottery barn for almost $500 and i got it from her for $75. She also included two large pottery barn basekets and said if i want more they sell them there for about $70 each HAHA!. I could never afford to pay 70 for a wicker basket! I'll stick with babies r us or maybe even cheaper stores if i need them. Anyway i'm very happy with it. She also included a changing pad and gave me a bathtub - the same one on my registry. They are about five years old so i have to clean them off a little but now i have all the big items i need. Plus i got a wall shelf from her that is so cute. it has scallped edges and little pegs on the bottom. its a cream color and everything of mine is white, but i'll still use it. So i got a changing table and shelf, all for $90 with bonus wicker baskets and a changing pad. yay, i love craigslist sometimes. but i cant sell things on tehre often, jst dont have good luck.

i had my U/S yesterday. The baby finally cooperated and they got all sorts of measurements - and they reconfirmed its a girl lol. I wanted to be extra sure with all this pink i'm buying! She is 1.2 pounds right now. So far i've gained 13 pounds at 22 weeks! And that was all within the last two months :( :( Sooooo not used to this!! Im starting to feel like a total fatso..i know, i know..im pregnant!

Also i went to babies r us and returned this hiking back pack i got as a gift that was $200. I was never going to use it so i got a high chair and bassinet instead, then i got a baby siwng and a few other items with my gifts cards, so more outfits, some clothes on clearance and i only spent $13 of my own :)

so..slowly but surely im getting there.

my workouts are sort of getting back on track this week. i worked out sun wed thur fri sat so far, so thats good :)

Just wanted to pop in.. no baby yet! I am having her Monday morning. I go in at 5:30 and will probably have the c/s about 8 or so. I am just busy getting stuff done around here. I need to pack my bag still and I am doing laundry.. trying to rest some. I will checkin probably Thursday with the news and pics!

Steph, nice to hear from you too. I hope you decide to do post-baby checkins (and here too). :) I'd like updated pics.

Lisa, you sound so busy! Wow! I generally don't like to do all that driving and stuff, really wears me out (not pg)!! YOu're amazing. Have you been able to keep up with your w/o's?

Guess what? Dh & I had whoopie last night!!! It was so awesome...I'm not ovulating, but it was just so awesome to connect, you know what I mean?@@?

Today we have God's House this AM & maybe take the kids to the pool this afternoon.

Hello Everybody! Looks like those who have checked in are having a good weekend!

Melanie, No raking here, thank goodness!!! We have TONS of trees (walnuts, oaks and maples) and would spend the better part of our Fall raking, but thankfully we have a lawn service and they just swoop 'em up every time they mow!

JenM, I'm glad you're getting all of your things bought - and great deals too! ^5 to you!

Melanie - I thought the second tri was 14 weeks +? I'm 12 weeks and will be 13 on Saturday. were you talking to another Jessica?
well if i am I'm still not feeling good :( I've had a two day headache and had it all thru the night also. I could barely eat today my Dh had to give me a medicine (hes a PA) to help me even keep water down. I'm feeling a bit better now. I have an appt Tuesday.. hope to hear the heartbeat for the first time.
hope everyone else is doing good. I have to get dinner out of the oven and on the table. thankfully its warmed leftovers.

Yup, you're right...you're not quite there. Are you sure it's not 13 weeks...the beginning of 2nd? I'm sorry you're not feeling better. You're energy should be coming up real soon. :)
 
I must be smoking something... lol. I turn 13 weeks on TUESDAY. I just reread what I wrote and caught that. Duh.
I almost thought I was feeling better a couple days and yet again I get smacked with the worst one yet. :p I know it'll pass eventually..... I hope.
The what to expect when your expecting book has 13 weeks as 3 mo. then starts the 4th month with 14 weeks. there was a discussion on this on another forum for expecting moms and it is a bit confusing ha. but thats how I think it goes.

Okay, hello everyone else! I am wiped. We had out of town guests over this am and I was supposed to head out to my parents, but I can't even get enough energy to walk up and down my stairs. There is a big sale at this craft store that I really want to go to, but I'm almost choosing to just stay home and rest. Hope everyone is doing well and can't wait to hear some pg and gender news here!

I did BOSU Blast this afternoon. So much fun. I like it alot, too bad there areen't more BOSU workouts (cardio workouts). It's fun bouncing all over the place!!

Anyone watch Despirate Housewives?
 
Melanie -no. ha. I was wondering though cause I didn't remember if I posted or not on this thread. nevermind me I'm a bit loopy the last few days. ugh!
