Weekend Check-in Saturday April 11th & Sunday, April 12th, 2026

Good Morning Everyone,

I have been MIA this week because my DH was travelling. It made life very busy for me as I work full-time (almost every day) and I had dog walking duties (among other things :( ). DH is back. Phew.

Today I did a short Cathe live for 35 minutes (it was her second short cardio live). It was tough.

Annette - OMG! I am so sorry to read your news. How could this even happen? you're so darn fit! Please update us with how you're doing. Big hugs to you friend!!!

Nicki - Wishing you the best surgery and recovery :)

Waves to Nora and Linda - wtg with your workouts :)

Have a great day everyone.

Hi ladies, I will be in the hospital at least till Monday. They can't do the echocardiogram till Monday. I still can walk or sit and then stand without being short of breath and my heart races. I also have coronary artery disease and there's a chance that I didn't have a heart attack secondary to the embolism. The test on Monday will tell the tell.

Hopefully I can sleep tonight.

Annette, hoping for the best for you, & keeping you in my heart & prayers.

Nicki, thinking of you with your upcoming surgery, and you are in my heart & prayers as well.

Waves to Siobhan, & Nora!

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I did a YT Precision KB workout for 45 minutes. I added on an LMR2 warm-up and will do my own stretch in a minute.

Rest weekend for everyone, it seems :)

Annette - Thank you for updating us. I really feel for you. Let us know the results of your tests. I'm sorry you have to stay in hospital. This must all have come as a big surprise. I hope you got some sleep. I'm thinking about you.

Big waves to Nora and Nicki.

Hello Annette,
I often lurk in this forum and get ideas for my own workouts from reading about all of your workouts.
I really just wanted to let you know that people you don’t even know are thinking of you and wishing you a full and speedy recovery. I hope you were able to get some good quality sleep last night.
Sending love and best wishes,
Pauline

Annette, I am so sorry to hear about this! Please keep us updated and I send my prayers, positive thoughts, and good wishes!!

Thanks ladies. I did get some sleep last night. I am off the IV heparin and now on an oral blood thinner. I should go home after the echocardiogram tomorrow morning. There is debate as to how long I will be on the oral blood thinner. I am able to walk around the room better, heartrate still goes up but I am not nearly as short of breath as before. Exercise will have to be taken in short increments as I build up my stamina again. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts, they are definitely felt. Hi to Pauline.

Annette- Yay!! You are feeling better. I'm keeping you in my prayers and believing for a good echocardiogram results Monday. Please rest and take care, just know you are covered with lots of prayers;)

Nicki- Yay for your surgery Monday!! I'm praying for your surgery to go well and for you to feel better and get to all that you want to do in the future.

Healing prayers and well wishes for both Annette & Nicki:)

Nora
