Girls hi, I've returned.:)

I took the girls to the local Agricultural Show (State Fair in your language). The girls loved it, I hated it! REal really really BAD junk food, scary rides, thankfully my two and I are too chicken to go those! It rained and blew a gail. Do I sound like one of those whiney moany women? Sorry. But the days of the good old fashioned Agricultural Shows are long gone - very sad. AND it cost me an absolute fortune! My two angels loved it except the ghost train - I'm still hearing about the "scary" ghost train from my 4 yr old. Shes been going on and on all day! She even stopped to tell the check out girl in the Supermarket ALL about the ghost train ride! She's soooo funny.

Andrea, sounds like the Ghost train was a big hit. It is sad that the fairs/shows have evolved. I grew up attending and participating in the shows through 4H. The fair food back then was cotton candy, candy apples and corn dogs. Not that any of those are good for you, but they were simple treats. Now its who has the weirdest fried food invention. Like frying it makes it better. It's all about the $$$ now.

Today I did Imax 2 1-5. That was all I enduring. Hopefully if I push myself a little, I will start to gain some of the endurance I lost. It would be a plus if I could breathe without filling like I'm going to cough up a lung. I actually pulled a muscle in my back from all the coughing I was doing earlier in the week. I will be glad when this crud is gone.

Hi Elaine, Roxie, and Amelia.

Any big plans fo rthe weekend? I'm sure we'll hit a movie. Maybe that one called Role Models. It looks pretty funny.

Good Morning,

Tonite is Get Ripped. Did LIS last nite, my body is responding to all the cardio this week has allowed me and next week is the same so I am hoping to see good results. We quit going to fairs around here they are no longer any fun. No special plans for the weekend just wait and see what happens.

Andrea-glad your little ones had fun and sometimes we have a right to be whiney moms.

Jean-glad to hear you are slowly getting better I hope I don't get what you have doesn't sound like any fun.

ya see,thats another reason why I love reading about everybodies workouts...it gets me motivated to do one:D

After a brief argument with myself ive decided on doing a run interval and then some LB work(i don't use weigths anymore,just alot of squats,lunges plea squats,calve lifts) then Im going to chooe an UB timesavor premix from one of the DVD's and I will do some abb work.

so far this week Ive did this
mon-rest(coming back from vacation)
tues-30 minute walk
wed-30 minute walk
thursday-30minute walk
today-LB + UB, 30 minute run interval,abbs
sat- rest
sunday-circuit

so that will complete a weeks worth of workouts!
 
Hi Girls,

Andrea: the only fairs we go to ,if we go, are the 4H fairs. They are still the cotten candy type with just animals, no carnival rides.

Jean: Imax2 1-5 isn't so shabby while still recovering from being sick. We seem to always have scout plans. With both my boys and my DH heavly involved, not a weekend goes by with out having something.

Roxie: I hope all that cardio pays off.

Amelia: Glad to see your back. So what did you do to be banned from the sight? Come on you can tell us!!:D Just kidding of course!!

This morning I did GS B/S/B timesaver premix, and the ankle weight work from B&G.

Gotta go to the grocery store.

It is warm here. Very strange for Nov. I guess that's global warming.

Jean-So sorry to hear about your pulled muscle in your back,i know all about those pesky injuries! Great job with I-max2...love the music in that workout!

Andrea-oh man,i haven't been to a fair in forever...the last time I went my sister was there and she knew one of the guys that was handling one of the rides that I was about to go on and being the little pesky sister she is...god love her, She got him to repeat the cycle of the ride like four times:confused: if you can imagine how I felt afterwards....My DH was loving it though. Cant remember the name of the ride but your constantly spinning i think its called the Wet willie or something.

Jean would you please look after yourself! Take it slow and keep resting until you are well. Gosh it sounds like you've been a very unwell girl.

Todays workout was Imax 3 1-5 followed by GS legs, standing work only.

Heres the scoop. Today, I pushed myself and went lower in the lunges, squats and the inner thigh squats (name of which has left me right now!)

Go lower,Cathe says, "How low can you go?" I challenge you. Go lower and get back to me.

I'm looking forward to your replys.;)

It sure is nice having all of us post again. Todays workout is 4days LIS step only back hurts from doing Get Ripped. Its cloudy and windy here today so I imagine it is also cold. Suppose to snow here Tuesday not ready for that yet. Today is also cleanmax, laundrymax, and walmartmax(yuck).

Andrea-good for you going lower and I accept your challenge to challenge myself. I hav never done the above workout before but it looks like I can do it and I will challenge myself to do all of it. Imax 3 confuses me good job with it.

Amelia-welcome back girl missed you your workouts look good.

Elaine-how is your DS doing?

Jean-how are you feeling today? Make sure you get plenty of rest this weekend.

Hi Roxie Imax 3 is very quick and she (Cathe) calls it right when you do the move. But you can do LIC, you should get Imax 3, stick with it. Its a very hard high impact workout lots of jumping, which works the legs. That equats with lots of pain!

How did you find Get Ripped?
 
Hi All. I'm feeling fine. It's just the coughing. It happens more at night when I lay down so that causes me to not sleep well. And with too much exertion, I get a little winded. I've been taking Nyquil the past couple of nights and so I can get some rest. Hopefully this mess with dry up soon.

Roxie, isn't it funny how we have trouble with certain DVD's. The ones I cannot get are the 4DS. I hate the step portions because I cannot get them. They look so cool, but my mind and feet won't put them together.

Andrea, nice workout.

Amelia, are you working this weekend? Hope it goes well.

Elaine, have fun with the scouting stuff this weekend.

Andrea-Get Ripped makes my back hurt I have done it twice this week not real sure I like her.

Jean-Iam doing 4days LIS step only it looks easy but we shall see.
 
jean- I agree with you. I can't get 4DS step either. I can do the 4DS HIS after many many many attempts and if I were to do it now, I couldn't just "get it" without mistakes.

I don't even bother with 4DS LIS. Never been able to get it. And now I can't be bothered with it.

The 4DS is the only Cathe DVD I have been disappointed with.

No workout for me today.

My DS is doing fine. I think he just wants to forget about it. The councelor talked to him.

I love the 4DS workouts. My least favorite of them is LIS. I love the weight work.

Gotta go to bed.

Roxie-I don't have the 4DS but i will say that i had a very hard time getting some of the moves in BM2,so hard infact that i listed it on ebay a couple times out of pure anger,LOL(but later taking it off;))

Today is going to be cardio and weights,love that workout! I blew my eating yesterday with chinese food...but it was oh,so good! My sister was in town and she and I are the only people in my family that like it and she mentioned eating some and before I knew it there was an eggroll in my mouth:confused: yummy:D

Good Morning,

Today is a rest day for me and my body is definetly saying I need one. I will do some yoga or a stretch later to help it relax. Eating yesterday was horrible bought some homeade fudge delicious.

Andrea-wouldn't it be great if we could take a month off from work?

Amelia-I love chinese food but DH doesn't like it. Glad you enjoyed your time with your sister.

Hi everyone. This morning I was on fire. I am tired of being lumpy and frumpy and told myself I was going out for an hour of cardio even if it killed me, I mean even if I had to walk some of it. Well I didn't walk any. I took the dogs out for 20 min, returned them home and set out again. I just listened to Cardio Coach and away I went. Jogged the whole hour following Sean's instructions (some was quite slow but at least still jogging). I went over 4.6 miles according to my Nike + and burned over 500 calories. And Lance Armstrong came across my IPOD and congratulated me on my longest event. I was standing in my driveway so excited that Lance was talking to me. Ok for those of you who think I have lost my mind, when you use a Nike + adaptor with your IPOD(certain models), it keeps track of your steps and calculates your time and miles. When you accomplish something different (faster speed, longer distance) then a famous athlete's voice comes on and congratulates you. So far I've heard Lance and a woman who I don't know (i think she is famous for volley ball).

Roxie, enjoy your rest day. As for a month off, oh my gosh I wouldn't know what to do. The only time I have had more than a week off from work was when DD was born and that was a total of 7 weeks. One week before and 6 weeks after. And that was over 21 years ago. If I had a month off, I would love to go travel. Of course I would need the money to go with it, so short of winning the lottery, I know it will never happen. I have always wonder how the people who do reality shows do it. Like Survivor and Biggest Loser. How do you take off for months at a time?

Andrea, back to work comes too soon. My DH works 4 days(long days) with 3 days off and it even comes too soon for him. Part of that is because we only have 1 day off together so it makes it hard to fit everything in that one day that we need to get done on our weekend.

Amelia, sharing chinese with your sister is a treat. You have to splurge every once in awhile.

Elaine, glad to hear your ds is doing OK. Hopefully things will stay calm.

Ok, lets get motivated. Be thinking about your challenge for the week and let's post them on Monday.

Waving hi! Did you forget me? I sure did!

Finally getting over my pity party and attempting to get everything back together again. Went to kickboxing class on Friday (OUCH!) and then had a nice brisk walk w/ DH today. Tomorrow I have 4DS bootcamp cardio on the agenda. Can't say I love this one, but I think I don't like it cuz it's hard for me. All the more reason to do it!

Trying to come up w/ some WO plan that will work for me...this is what I have so far...
M: 4D Bootcamp cardio
T: GS C&T
W: 4DS LIS
Th: GS BSB
F: 4DS KB

I would like to get some yoga in (there just aren't enough hours in the day), so I may change to MTTh cardio w/ yoga on W and a full body weight WO (ME?) on F. Saturdays are really busy w/ kid stuff so they're a good rest day. Anyway, I'll see how it goes this week. See ya tomorrow!
