Good morning Girls! It's almost 5AM, I've been awake for an hour:mad: and I am NOT happy about it. This kid's in one very uncomfortable position:mad:. Decided to quit fighting her on it and sit up for a while.

Stephanie, I'm glad you had a good appt. y'day. ^5 on the 2#!!! I think I gained 2 yesterday! Eating was less than stellar.

Today is a rest day and my body is ready for it. We have a busy day of errands and chores so I'll get plenty of activity anyway.

Have a good day - hope you're all still sleeping right now!:)

Morning Kate,
Sorry baby Julia is keeping you up! Maybe you can catch a quick nap today.
Nothing exiciting going on here today. I plan to deforst our outside freezer...yehaww fun! and putter around here doing stuff. Its raining like crazy, so I"ll probably stay home.
How is everyone today?

Good morning ladies

Kate - sorry you couldnt sleep well. Maybe the chores and errands will tire you out and you can catch a nap later :) Take it easy on yourself!

Susan - hope you have a good day. Its still rainy here too after the hurricane

Im at work all day and have court scheduled (hopefully this is the last one - i've been off the road over 2 months now and i'm still getting subpoena's!) I dislike court lol

Im in a suit for it, and the pant are getting tight. So i feel fat today. I know..i'm pregnant but still. I think i'm starting to show now. Either that or i have a huge pot belly! Its my first pregnancy and i'm only 14 weeks so i thought it was maybe a little early to show. Its just uncomfortable for me. Im not used to that! Haha i m ust sound crazy right now. I also have NOT been eating healthy. DH got KFC for dinner last nite - I NEVER eat that. Yesterday was just awash for healthy eating anyway. I did workout and plan to workout tonite and tomorrow when DH is working. Im just so tired after my job, its hard to keep on top of it all.

Ok..better get back to work. Hope everyone is feeling well and has a good day.

Morning all. Not much going on here today. Try and stay awake for work and thats it! Today is the last day of Mothers day out for the kids, dd starts school mon. I think I am ready to be back in the routine, but still am so going to miss them.
kate-i am sorry little one is making you uncomfortable. I had forgotten about that part of late pregnancy! Hope you can sleep later at naptime.
susan-good luck with the defrost job. I am still jealous! I need to do a top to bottom sweep of our place.
Jenm-if I remember correctly(HA) with my first at 14 weeks things were definetely not fitting right. sometimes by the end of a work day I would resort to the rubberband through the buttonhole trick. I also just got a band from a friend who just delivered. It is a cloth stretchy band about 7-8 in wide and you can wear it at the top of your pants, leave them unbuttoned and it holds them up but looks like a maternity panel. I am almost 18 weeks and I am trying to hold off on maternity at least a couple more weeks. This may do the trick!
Have a great day!

Hi ladies,
Kate--Sorry the baby kept you up. What is it about our ribs and bladder that thrill them SO much! LOL Hope she's shifted into a better position.

Jen--Glad you weathered the storm! I saw that tornadoes had hit in several places down there, and I was worried about you! Maybe this will be your last court date for awhile! As for the clothes, mine started feeling tight about that same time with DS#1. I remember having to go buy some bigger clothes, but I didn't want to buy maternity yet, so I bought some huge size 8s. Oh, to think a size 8 was huge. Those were the days!!! LOL

Susan--Have fun defrosting! I need to do some housework today too. I wish we could get some rain here. Weather guys says it's been the driest August in 60 years. I love doing housework when it's rainy outside. I feel guilty for cooping Henry up inside when it's sunny, but I've got to get some things done today!

Mikkia--Enjoy your last few days with the kiddos before school! I thought I'd be a little sad when school started, but it actually is nice to get back into a routine. 18 weeks and no maternity clothes yet--you're doing great!!

Hi to everyone else!! Maggie--Do we have a baby yet???
---------------
Well, last night was Henry's first soccer practice ever. He looked scared to death and just kind of watched the mob of other 3 year olds fighting for the ball. We'll have to work on his competitive spirit. LOL. Today I'm going to do some work around the house. Tomorrow night is first grade open house and Friday is Oliver's soccer practice. Busy week!! And I'm really tired this morning. Does anyone else get hip pain when you sleep on your side? I'm about to start sleeping on the sofa, I think. Oh well ... have a great day, guys!! :)

Morning Jen, Mikkia and Stehpanie. Maybe Kate went back to bed!!

Stephanie-my main complaint with my preganancy was hip pain at night! I am a tummy sleeper and it drove me nuts. Since my neck surgery I have tried to sleep on my back and side more. Surely you will get some of this rain!

Mikkia-have a great day! 18 weeks already..wow time flies!

No workout for me today. Only cardio I can do is spin and don't feel like that. I'll do weights tomorrow. Im hoping I can try and step on Friday. I am so thankful I didnt break my foot! Today is my heavy af day so not working out is fine with me!

wow, slow day around here. I got the freezer defrosted and all organized. I made a cake and brownies for dh to take to work, washed sheets etc.
I wonder how Maggie is doing.

Susan--I'm going to start calling you Martha Stewart. OK? :) You are so organized. I used to be organized. :(

Hope everyone is having a good afternoon. I'm listening to Henry fight with Oliver. It's become background noise. I think I'm about to go make some breakfast items. We're out of muffins, and I'm tired of feeding the kids frozen waffles. Yuck. I'm going to make some whole-wheat/chocolate chip scones and some cinnamon muffins. I'll be glad when the baby comes. I'm really wanting a nice glass of red wine tonight. Oh well. Come on, October!!!! :)

Hi,
Long time, no "talk"...
I am still enjoying these lovely, long inservice days:confused:. One more day of it, then I will do some last minute things in my classroom on Friday, then school starts on Monday. My class is still at 18, but I know we got a lot of kids registered this week (nothing like waiting till the last possible moment), so it will go up slightly.

I have been having horrible lower back pain and pressure in my lower uterus. It has prevented me from doing any exercise for the past 2 days, but I do feel like going for a small walk right after I get done with this. I did see the midwife at the dr's office today, and she assured me that the pain/pressure is perfectly normal. My c-section is scheduled for Oct 9th. I personally don't feel like I am going to make it to then, but maybe I will?

Stepanie-I get the hip pain too:mad:. I put this extra pad on the bed, and it helps somewhat.

Kate-Sorry to hear baby Julia is causing your discomfort too. The last stretch of pregnancy is a blast, isn't it:(?

Susan-You can clean, organize, defrost ANYTIME for me!

Jen M-I got big early with this pregnancy, but I was about 14-15 weeks with DS#1 when things started to get tight. I remember wondering when I would show, then all of a sudden I did!

Mikkia-Enjoy these last few days before school.

Maggie-Any baby yet?

-Jen

Hi!
Stephnie-I am far from being a Martha. I love to cook and clean but I am not crafty one bit! I want a really good sewing machine from Santa this year. Not sure why though.. I can't sew!
Hi Jen-what grade do you teach? I forgot. My dd is loving school so far..and Im so glad. Her teacher hasnt used any double negative yet either:p
I feel really gross. I had way too much cake a brownie batter (my fav part). Its amazing how sugar tastes so good but makes you feel like crap.

I was laughing Susan at your brownie batter craving. I had a serious problem with jelly beans this afternoon. i found some from easter. i guess the hormones took over. i don't think they even tasted that good. I think someone should come and clean every last bit of junk out of my house before i eat it.
all is well here for now. i did Imax 2 and bi/tri from 4ds. I think it was all of the jelly bean sugar that got me through that!
jen-I am sorry you are having lower pain, is it from your earlier csections/ i had it with ds terrible. Maybe you will go early! Just not too early.
Kate-do you have one of the pregnancy pillows? I put it behind me, lay on myside and then lean back like I am going to lay on my back, but then you are at an angle that should be ok on your vena cava. I don't know if will help your hip or not.:)

Maggie?

Hi there. Just popping in, keeping my eyes open to hear the news of Maggie's new baby. Anyone hear anything? I enjoy keeping tabs on everyone, even if I don't post.

Work is going well. I've stopped bleeding and have lost all plus of my baby weight. I'm really happy that I can wear my clothes---I would really by grumpy if I had to buy new clothes to work in.

I"m not quite myself yet, but getting better. :)

My boys are waking up, wanting some juice. Will chat later. :)

Good to "see" you Melanie. I have missed you around here!!! Im glad you are feeling a little better and your new job is going well.

I am anxious to hear about Maggie too!
