At least that's a mathematically sensible plan. The corn idea is just not practical in any way, at least not if we want gas and food (personally, I do). I was just reading about how the midwest is losing however many millions of dollars worth of crops. Sad, people are actually going hungry because of this, and all the politicians care about is having some buzzword like "biofuel" to throw around, no matter how much of a waste of time and money the whole process is. Bottom line, there's a crapload of money still left to be made off of the oil that still exists, and until that cash cow is completely exhausted, we will not have energy reform.

not a religious person but i am starting to take all this as a sign that all the greed is coming to bite everybody in the arse now. and all those other ideas that oil companies bought and tossed away so it wouldn't compete,could really be rediscovered about now.
