:::::Warning,vitacost customers:::::rebate scam:::::

Hey,first of all I love this website and have order from them in the past with no problems.So this has nothing to do with vitacost but,

I placed an order about two weeks ago,got my order and yesterday discovered a charge of 29.99 on my card from a 'Shopping Essentials'
and I had no idea who they were!

So to make a long story short,after completing my order with vitacost your are asked to click 'here' if you want the 10 dollar rebate(forget the exact words) so I did! Well shopping essentials is saying that I clicked another link called'commit' after going into the rebate link....and I Did not do any such thing! so after calling this shopping essentials and letting them know that i didnt authorize anything, they stated that the 29.99 would be refunded back to my credit account in two business days! I will keep an eye on that two!

so you were sent to shopping essentials by vitacost after completing your order? How to avoid that and still shop vitacost of other internet businesses?

I contacted vitacost to see if they were aware of this! Im waiting for there reply. I guess I just have to be careful on what i click on and review cc statements! I do remember trying for the rebate before and there was no problem? Weird?

If they are aware of it I would let them know that unless they sever the relationship with Shopping Essentials you will be severing your relationship with Vitacost...

I did beavs,I told them that I really enjoy there prices and fast delivery,but if this matter isn't taken care of,i wouldn't be coming back!

Stinks too,they got my BSN protien powder super cheap there x(!
