WAAAYYY OT - Help w/ a song title

This is driving me up a wall and searches on the Internet are not helping. The chorus is "Whenever you need me I'll be there, I'll be around." Does anyone remember the title? Thanks for any help!

Wasn't that a Michael Jackson song? I think it was called I'll Be There.

Didn't it have the lyrics "I'll be there to comfort you."

That may be too simplistic, though.

*ETA, I thought it was the Tempatations but maybe I'm wrong. I'm looking into it and will write back when I know. Sorry. :-(
