Victoria's Secret Bronzing Lotion

Have you guys seen this? I was roaming around the mall today (yes, I was BORED!) and I happened into VS's store where they sell make-up, fragrances, lotions, etc. They have a lotion that comes in something like 6 different scents that you can use to make you look tanner. It is NOT a bronzer and not premanent (washes off in the shower). When you put it on, you rub it in and it seems to add about a shade more of color, a little sparkle and a hint of whatever scent you choose. The girl told me that the idea is to enhance the color that you have and add a little more, esp. in the areas that you may not have a lot of color. A great example would be if you don't have tons of color on your legs but you want to go without hose, throw some of this one and you are golden! I like it b/c if you don't apply it right, you aren't stuck like you are with bronzer and it really did bring out the color that I already had on my arm. I noticed that the perfume fragrances (5oz)were $22 and the fruity scents (I think it is 4OZ) (the ones that match their gels, lotions and shower stuff) were $10. I picked up the $10 to try it out & thought I would share!

Sounds really good Christine. I read something in Elle recently, the interview was with Charlotte Tilbury, a famous British make-up artist. One of the questions was:

What makes a great party and a fantastic looking guest?

Her answer:
A good mix of people. Music is also incredibly key. If you have a bad DJ, the party just is not going to happen. And women need to dress up and feel glamorous. Get a pedicure; there's nothing more fabulous than red toenails. When people go out, they don't put enough body moisturizer and their skin looks a bit dry. Mix highlighter with your lotion to give your body a moonlit shine. It adds this lovely sheen that also makes you appear thinner.

I saw that today when I was in the mall, buy my DH was with me and he was bored to tears with shopping by that point. I will definitely take a closer look next time I am at the mall. Let us know how it works out.
