Just wanted to share a fantastic food find! I usually have Silk Vanilla soymilk with my cereal and like ti very much. I recently bought the juice box size Very Vanilla version, and oh my gosh- what a treat. It tastes so much like a vanilla milkshake- minus the guilt :)

I agree! My husband got me hooked on Very Vanilla Soy Milk. He gave it the same discription as you did. "vanilla milkshake- minus the guilt :)"
He's like, why do you want Vanilla Soy Milk, when you can have VERY Vanilla Soy Milk. LOL!

Kathryn, I'm not sure of the sugar content, but I'm betting it's not that great.

If you find it has a lot of sugar, you can drink half vanilla and half regular to cut down. DH and I do that with the soy chocolate milk and it's quite delicious.

Kathryn,

I thought about that. I don't think it is terribly high, but I cannot look at the box because my dad finished them all lol!

Okay, are the stats for Silk Very Vanilla Soy Milk.:)

Good, bad, Thoughts?

The sugar does seem a bit on the high side. Since there are 4 grams of sugar in a teaspoon-that means that in 1 cup there are 4 teaspoons of sugar.

But if it keeps you from eating something worse, go for it!

Do, they have LIGHT very vanilla soymilk? would that lower the sugar intake? just wondering since I LOVE vanilla soymilk!!!

take care:)

I'd say that is a TON of sugar in there!! I've been drinking the unsweetened soymilks and those are about 4g of carbohydrate per cup. I wonder what they put in the Very one to make it so yummy- is it labeled "sugar" or "organic cane juice" or something??
