VERY confused....

I got my elliptical I begged for for Christmas...now what do I do?? When time allows (which is usually 2 maybe 3 days/week) I have been doing 30 minutes on it then doing one of Cathe's new videos. Other days all I can get in is 30 minutes on the elliptical and other days I do 30 minutes then I do one of her GS workouts. I guess what I am looking for is maybe some ideas for a rotation or ideas on what some of you who have an elliptical do?? I love my elliptical but I miss KPC, the IMax's and ALL the videos.

I don't own an elliptical but I have put a lot of thought into buying one but have always talked myself out of it. I know myself enough that though it sounds like a good idea for a different "type" of cardio it would be too boring for me, I need the DVD's to keep me focused & having fun while working out, not just gazing off into space or watching TV. That is just my opinion, I know lots of people have them & love them, I think it is more a personality thing... maybe try doing the elliptical a little less each week & sub back in another workout, like KPC-which is one of my fav's! Either just do one day on the elliptical or two & sub the third day with another, I know you said you were doing 30 min on it followed by one of her new series... what about doing the Cardio conditioning on KPC (I think it is 36min) follwed by like B&G for a rotation one day???

Not sure that helps... :)

What about following any rotation that you like and then using your elliptical on the cardio days.

You could even go as far as putting on those DVDs and watching them for motivation/music or whatever WHILE you are on your elliptical. I have read about others watching Cathe while they are using other equipment and having success with that for motivation.

Congrats on your new equipment!

The answer: Cardio Coach. Michele (mf545), who is famous for hating cardio, practically drools over her elliptical and someone named Coach Sean. :)

PS: Do a search for more info, there have been several different threads...

Thank you all for your input. I think I just think about it too much and I suppose either way it's better than just sitting here doing NOTHING like I did all day -- couldn't figure out what to do and now it's too late to do anything (have a Xmas party to go to). Dumb of me.

I don't know how to do searches????

Cardio Coach is fabulous as are the iTrain - iClimbs. If you don't have an MP3 player or iPod, then you can save them to a CD and play them that way. I love using the elliptical with CC and iClimbs.

>The answer: Cardio Coach.

I agree!

You could also do about 10-15 minutes on the elliptical as an extended warm-up for weight workouts.
