I dont have a store where I can buy oraganic food without it costing 5 per pound, very expensive. Will I be ok just eating regular vegetables?

Eating conventionally grown vegetables is still better than no vegetables at all. Just soak them for a bit in some water/vinegar and you are good to go.

Hi there,

Yes, it will be fine. From what I've read though, try to buy stuff that's grown in the US or Canada. Some countries still use pesticides and other stuff that we've banned.

Just make sure you wash them well.

It's great to buy organic, but tough if you can't find it at a reasonable price. Do the best you can.

Anything with the skin that you remove before eating (ie) bananas, you do not need to buy organic. "They" suggest to buy organic apples (unless you remove the skin), berries, and lettuce. Those are the biggies. Anything that is really sprayed - like berries try to buy organic. But, I agree, when I see $7 blueberries on one shelf and a $3 bunch with more berries, it hard for me to buy organic!?! HTH
