Well , we are back. Overall we had a nice week .Beach walks and biking and pool reading time.
The condo was awful this year.
Micro worked on 1/2 power.
Stove had a grill that didn't work.
Frige was never cold.
Dishwasher had a part under the sink....
Drawer was broken in kitcken, blind was hanging broken.
Dryer had taken 2 hrs for a load to dry which meand a bad element.
Had a rain storm and the one bedroom was raining in it.
The bathroom had a missing jet and really cracked tile bad
I was disapointed this year.
2400. For this 2 bedroom place and horrible.
I had to go buy teflon skillet(eggs, pancakes) and a dvd player for grandson.Only has stainless and everything stuck bad.
The place was supposed to have been a 4 star resort , maybe 20 years ago.
The walkways were all splintered wood and nails sticking up everywhere.
Then we only had a medioker weather week.
lower 80's most of the week and a cold ocean.
Bummer.
Oh, and try walking across the street in duck OBX. They will run ya over.
Traffic was horendous.
I went to the gym 5 miles away and took me 30 min to get there.
I prefer working out at home. Gym was kinda dirty and used..
I have always stayed at a condo in kittyhawk and will never stay in duck again.Traffic was too crazy...
Riding bikes was a chore till you got into southern shores and on the back roads,
I can imagine how the locals feel.
We came home sat night instead of sun morn to miss the traffic and i needed my own bed from the rock i slept on all week.
Good to get away, nice to get back home.
I came home and said , look hon ,the stove works, and he started laughing at me......
Well anyone else have vacation nightmares...
