Upper leg definition

I hate my legs (always have - I think my knees are part of the problem) Anyway, I have a bit of definition from the side, but I'm majorly lacking when you look from the front. Anyone know what cuts your legs above your knee caps? Leg extensions? what else?

Also - a few months ago, I started doing Power Yoga a couple times a week and my legs seem to be getting a bit more cut from that. All of those low lunges in sun salutations works your legs and butt differently than traditional exercise.

Really. Well, I love to rollerskate. Maybe I should be doing that on weekends? EVERY weekend! Thanks for the reminder. Great idea!!!

I would think exercises like leg extensions and hamstring curls along with sissy squats, and maybe hack squats would bring in the most definition here. Floor work does help alot. I have found if I eliminate the floor segments, I lose some of that definition. Not sure why though, they seem to affect the outer sweep of the thigh and into the glute area. Hack squats you may not be able to do, depending on equipment. I think I would have more muscle but I tend to overdo cario, by choice. I love cardio and it makes me feel good. I know it catbolizes muscle. A lot of your work depends on diet as well as your training.
