UGH!!! Waitng for a Package

plz dont' mind me i am just blowing off steam. after a crappy b-day yesterday i need to let out my little childish moment. on saturday i placed on order with advancedworkouts.com. she had a used copy of terminator and has a sale on some cathe stuff, and i hear she is really good. plus her free shipping for $50 or more sold me. she emailed me on sunday night the confirmation number and told me package will be shipped on monday.

now this isn't her fault, its the dang post office. whats the point of the confirmation sticker if you don't scan the damn thing so ppl will know when to expect the package. she told me it was sent priority mail and i only ordered 3 dvds. so you would think SOMEWHERE along the way, they would have scanned it. my dilema is i want to be home when the expected delivery will be b/c my postman has a bad habit of leaving these packages outside my apartment door. you can't trust anybody, and i have complained but he still does it. knock on wood that i haven't had an issue with somebody taking the package but you can never be too careful.

i payed a good amount of money, i shouldn't have to worry about missing the mailman if i step out for a little bit. they sure like to charge for that little sticker but really make NO use of it whatsoever, unless they just never update their site, which is really stupid too.

okay b*tching and moaning over. hopefully it will be here soon.

Oh yeah, and postal service tracking numbers are utterly useless. I have a big problem with the mail service in general. Several days a week I find mail in my box that doesn't belong to me, so I have to wonder how much of my mail is sitting on someone else's kitchen counter. I rarely mail anything anymore. I've signed up to receive most of my bills and all of my bank/credit card statements by email.

ditto here on getting others mail.at one point i was getting W-2s from ppl who lived in this apartment over year or more ago. WTF is that all about, don't they use the mail fowarding. it seems a shame that jen went through all the trouble of shipping priority and giving delivery confirmation(for free for me)for them to not scan. i wouldn't be so upset if my mailman wasn't a dumbass(for lack of better term) then to leave my boxes outside my door. i have a car, i can go pick up just leave a note "couldn't fit into mailbox,plz pick up package at this post office".

with the older kids out of school we have some strange characters up to no good around here, of course they wouldn't know what to do with a cathe dvd but i saved up to get myself a nice b-day present dammit (LOL there goes diva again), and i know nobody would pay me back if somebody stole the box.

RE:UPDATE!!!!

FINALLY!! my advanced workouts(shipped via PRIORITY mail)has arrived. now the funny dileama was that sure the box FIT in the mailbox from the back end(where the mailman puts in the mail) but couldn't be pulled out when i opened the box(on my end) LOL. i sat there for 5 mins or so and fought to open this box to pull the dvds out THEN crush the box so i can pull it out of the mailbox. my neighbors must have been peeping out their screen doors getting a good chuckle at the moron fighting with a box LOL. at least i got my dvds,UNHARMED,out. along with the freebie resistance band. i can relax now LOL
