Ugh...Monday...Check in!

Good morning, just getting us started.
Im at work and the morning just is NOT going right, hence the title. It really is a Monday for me. All normal people are off today...

i leased a new car in december and it only has 4,000 miles on it and my engine light has been on for a week. im trying to call the service place at honda but they arent answering yet. maybe they are closed for the holiday

i also woke up from a very bad dream in which i lost the baby. it was so upsetting and i did not like it at all.i was alone and my DH wasnt home yet and it was just really distrubring.

little things are piling up and i'm being very grumpy today and its only 740am! Sigh...

I hope every has a better day than i'm having! :)

Jen- sorry about your bad dream :( I hope the day gets better for you.

Doing fine here. When I was in San Antonio I only had told a couple friends at our old church and when we went one of my friends dh told the whole church. ugh! well its not a large church it was rather small but still I wasn't going to tell EVERYONE yet. I'm only 6 weeks. I'll be sure to tell my friends here to not say anything yet. Not till I start getting a bump showing ;)
 
Howdy. Checking in to say I might not be checking in for a few days. The hurricane is supposed to hit later today so we should see very heavy rain and wind up to 80mph.. not sure how long we will have power or when we'll get it back. WE do have a generator,b ut I am sure my dh isn't gonna let me use it to run the computer. LOL

Not too much new here. About 3 days past ovulation. I took Femara this month and got some pretty good timing in, so we'll see what the 2 week wait brings. Trying to be as positive as possible. Had an ultrasound on CD 13 and had a HUGE 27 mm follie on the left and lining was 11.8, so that's all good. Praying for a BFP!

Jen2-sorry you had such a bad dream! That must have been SO disturbing. As for the check engine light, we've had that happen on our old Honda, and it turned out that DH forgot to put the gas cap back on after filling up with gas. If you forget the gas cap or don't screw it on properly, sometimes it messes up the pressure in the gas tank and the light comes on. Could that be it?

Mikkia--Sorry you have work and school today! That's crummy!

Well, today I am savoring the terrible threes. Yes, apparently 3 is the new 2. Henry is acting SOOOOOOO bad. UghDH is taking Oliver to see the Star Wars movie today, and Henry and I will just putter around here. He's very upset he can't go (too young). We're having problems making him understand that Oliver can do things he can't do sometimes. But I try to compensate and do fun things with just Henry when Oliver is at school. It's such a juggling act, I'm starting to worry about adding another ball to the juggling act. :) (I wouldn't trade it for the world, mind you.)
So last night, I thought my water had broken, but it turns out, it was just a little incontinence. Lovely, huh? DH almost had a heart attack!! It happened at 1:30 a.m., when I got up to pee and felt a little tiny trickle. I stayed awake for awhile to make sure contractions didn't follow, and they didn't, so yep, I'm a Depends commercial waiting to happen :eek:. Pregnancy does such lovely things to the bladder!!! On that TMI note, hope you guys have a great day!!
 
Stephanie - LOL on the depends commercial waiting to happen! I havent had that experience yet and hope not to..but im sure my time will come!!!

Also, i tried tightenging the gas cap, that didnt seem to work. Usually it will say 'check fuel cap' on my screen and nothing popped up. just the engine light is lit up. someone else said there car was low on washer fluid and that light came on so i tried that...but no luck. cant get a hold of anyone at honda today, must be due to the holiday.
 
Things are quiet here for the 2nd day. I took a nap in the am, DH and DS are taking naps now. DH is feeling better-no more runs:D. We didn't get to the fireworks lastnight-it just got too late and DH didn't want to go. It's back to work tomorrow. I am finishing up lesson plans, then I am going to clean downstairs.

Kristan-Glad to hear that you are not anywhere near the storm.

Trish-I am sorry to hear that you are. We keep watching it on the news. I will be thinking about you...

Calvillo-So this is your 3rd? I am having my 2nd (a boy) in October.

Jen M-:mad: on the bad dream. It was only a dream, though.

We are at Fort Polk, LA which is north west of new orleans. We are starting to get the rain now and winds are supposed to pick up about 1.. I think the worst is coming overnight and early tomorrow morning.

Anne~praying this month is it for you!!
 
Hi ladies! Just stoppin' in to say hello. I've been nauseated and oh so tired. As a result of my nausea & fatigue, I've not been online much. I will return when I feel human again. My first PNV is Thursday.

Stephanie-Too funny! I would have been scard too, though! I could have let you in on "Three is the new two" a while ago:confused:. Andy is just about 3 1/2, and he is getting past that (most days), but he still has a meltdown every now and then:rolleyes:.

Trish-I hope you make out o.k.!

Autumn-Nice to "see" you. Hope your nausea passes quickly.

Jen M-Good luck with car. Usually the check engine light is nothing (not as bad as you think).

I did walkmax around downtown Harrisburg today. I wanted to get a waffles and ice cream SOOOOOOOOOOO bad, but I just couldn't bring myself to pay $5 for one! So, DH took me to the store and we bought a box of waffles and a 1/2 gallon of ice cream for $6;).
