Two baby monitors

Has anyone ever used two monitors to monitor two kids in two different rooms? If so, did you use the same brand of monitor on a different channel or two different brands? Any suggestions? Thanks so much.

I'd like to know too!

My DDs are 4&6, they share a room and I don't think I'll ever be able to go without a monitor in there! LOL! Their room is right by the front door with a HUGE window and our bedroom is in theback of the house. When baby comes her room is right next to ours but we'll need 2 monitirs too.

I'll be curious to see the responses here. Thanks for posting the Q.

We just had our first baby on 6/2/08 and we're using 2 monitors in the house (one in her crib the other in the pack n' play on another floor) we have the Bebe Sounds 900MHz we opted to buy the extra monitor and it works perfectly. I'm not sure if the receiver would work with a different camera you might end up with alot of interference.

Did the extra monitor come with the whole system or did you buy it separately?

I may just buy another monitor like the one we have and see if it works. If not I will return it.

i am also shopping for moniters... we have a 2 story house so i need one upstairs and for downstairs.I was looking at some of the video moniters also-my biggest thing too is i want one that other people cant tune into and listen to your conversations in your home.some of those moniters you can pick up conversations from other people....

I just bought a second monitor. Our first one was made by Graco and the new one is also made by Graco. It says "digital" on the box and also says that it won't interfere with another monitor. So far so good. I have a monitor in each of my girls rooms and then I can listen to them in my room. No problems yet.

They did have a monitor system that lets you monitor two rooms. That would be great if I didn't already have a monitor. It was kind of pricey though...$129. The single monitor I bought was $55. Toys R Us had a coupon for 10 percent off this month.

Thanks for the update - we'll look into this for sure!
Despite the fact that my oldest girls share a room and are ages 6 & 4 I can't help but listen in to their room while they are sleeping! Helps me sleep better.
