TV question - "Fringe"?

Ok - I know that many of you are TV buffs. I am really not because I never have the time. BUT --- the new show this year called Fringe on Fox - anyone watch it? OMG -- closest thing to my old fave "X Files" that I've seen. And the writing -- fabulous, with a cast who delivers it perfectly! I adore the Walter character. Just wondering if there are any other Fringe fans.

I've been watching it...hoping for a cross between "Lost" and "X-Files". I'm not totally sucked in yet. I like all of the characters except the female lead, Dunham...I wish she was cooler...like Scully.

I watch it.
I can't say I'm as much a fan of it as I am of "Lost" (or was of "the X-files").

(I do think it's interesting that both the actor who plays the doctor and the female lead are Aussies. Just two more to add to the Brits/Aussies playing Americans on TV! Including Hugh Laurie on "House" and Simon Baker in "The Mentalist").

I've added this to my list which includes 24 and Lost. I don't think it is as good as either of those, but I like it. It is written by the same writers as Lost and Alias...you can see the resemblences. I'm just waiting to see if the lead FBI guy is really bad and in kahoots with the redhead from Massive Dynamic. You can see by my great knowledge of the names of these people, how much I pay attention to the details!

Love the show, have to catch up and watch it on hulu, though. My Fox station is running 8 minutes over the hour for some reason, so my recorder stopped at 10 and chopped off the best part..

I want to see who's after the son (Peter Bishop? the one who used to play Pacey!) and see if Olivia rescues him ...

ElleJay-

House, the show on before Fringe, had an extra long episode (hour and 8 min.), so that's probably what happened. My DVR got it right, but you just never know with those darn things sometimes!
