Good Morning!

Just came up from doing the Up only premix from Pyramid Upper Body. I don;t know how anyone does the whole pyramid on these..I think I would collapse! I may try it on Sunday;-) . Anyone have a favorit Cathe lower body that is about 35-40 min long? I can;t seem to find one that I look forward to doing.

Anyway, I will bb in a bit....

Morning Melters!

Well, once again I didn't get up. Mostly because I didn't manage to get to bed early enough last night. And my back is really sore this morning. Ah well. It's supposed to be a nice day, so maybe I'll run outside this evening.

Deb - the whole pyramid is a killer, especially those biceps! She always makes me laugh during those, though. I like the PLB up only premix. It's about 40 minutes, I think.

Hi, I'm back,

DH and I took Kelsey for a walk, then she went out in the yard with DH..He found a big spot and a hole in our flower garden that looks like a rabbit made for his bed. That would never have happened if Clancy was here. The rabbits knew to stay out of our yard. Kelsey is more the passive type. She may chase one, if she feels like it at that momemt.. To Clancy, this was his job, man!

For those that ordered STS or are considering it, they have finished filming!

Sorry to hear about your back. Do you know how it happened? Nice that the co-worker was "decent" yesterday.

Jennifer:
Do not under any circumstances say the "S" word!}( LOL. oh no..another back problem? what is going on here? is it better today?

Robin:
Don't worry about the recommendation on the book. That's what is so great about going to the library. It's free and if you don;t like it, bring it back and get 10 others! Can you tell I love the library? I use their internet site to request books and have them delivered to my local library. For $.25 it's a steal! That bread must have been heavenly!:9

Shannon:
Get on those horses! If you gallup for a long time, is that a good lower body workout? It seems like it would be "low impact" except for those of us that don;t ride! We would sure have sore parts afterwards.:7

Tneah:
Yes, us "old" people have to throw caution to the wind once in a while...it's the injuries you get after that throw that are the killer! Wow a 25 # vest? That will be good for STS..I will have to shop around a bit. I like the one CAthe and crew are using in STS, but it looks like they are only 10 lbs.. almost not worth the trouble. I didn;t see where they said you could add on weights either. Good to hear your test results were good.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well.:( . I agree you should stop taking that nasal spray. Regarding the B-Complex, I just get the huge one at our local "big box" store. It's their brand.

Emily:
That happens to me sometimes too.. like the other day with L&G..not happening. I stopped after 26 minutes. Which Cathe lower body are your favorite?

Sounds like you were doing "ErrandMax" yesterday! Glad to hear the ankle is better.

TK:
Well at least you have a head start on your garden by getting at the weeds. I can;t wait for our perennial bed to start blooming!

Good morning, Melters -

I had a nice evening last night and am really getting into a sort of yoga/meditation routine after my workout. It takes a lot of time, but it feels so nice. I slept with all the windows open - when I got home it was about 74 degrees, and it only got down to 60 all night.

Sorry I never made it back yesterday for personals. We had a meeting that started at 1 and was still going when I left for the afternoon. I should have stayed, but I just couldn't handle it anymore.

Deb - Maybe when you get a pal for Kelsey, he'll turn out to be another rabbit chaser! I got Brandy soon after I lost Iris (she was hit by a car), and their personalities are so similar in some ways that it makes me wonder about reincarnation. Horseback riding can be a very good lower body workout for the quads, but not so much for the glutes. Oh, and the inner thighs REALLY get a workout!

Shelley – What happened to your back??? Is it the same thing as before? And did you go back to get those jeans? You NEED them!

Leanne – are you feeling better yet, now that you’re off the nasal spray? Good for you, listening to your body and noticing that!

Emily – how did the dentist go? Hopefully it was a short visit.

Lanie – Take care of that ankle! I’m glad it’s feeling better. How is Isaac feeling today?

Tneah – a pink vest, huh? I’ll bet it’s adorable! I’m glad all your tests are okay. I hope that progesterone works fast!

Robin – I’m glad your knee is holding up to stepping. Guess what I did yesterday? Air jacks!!! First time in forever, what with that stress fracture a while back and then the torn calf. We will heal. Slowly but surely!

TK – I’ve never tried Saesun. What’s her intensity like?
 
Hi everyone. I have a big icky headache right now so I'm just going to post a quick note to say "hi". I missed spending more time here yesterday so I hope I'm able to come back later today. I'm thinking of walking to the library, though the headache and wobbly ankle might make it tough. It's only 2-3 blocks, though.

OK, I'm back. Boy, fairly quite thread today.

It's been another fairly productive day. Right now I'm watching the boys in the backyard playing with bubbles. I did yoga earlier and some special exercises for my ankle, so that was today's workout. I also managed to walk to the library and my favorite little accessories boutique (which just moved closer to my house--uh oh).

I just remembered--this week is the anniversary of getting my first Cathe workout--Kick Max. I remember it like yesterday--I really enjoyed the first kickboxing portion. I felt tough and strong. Then she started those tuck jumps and air jacks and the second part and I just stopped with my mouth hanging open, saying "what the ?" Yep, and yet I kept ordering more Cathe.

Deb, I was doing PUB a lot when I was doing BFL, but always just the pyramid up premix--it's been ages since I tackled the full thing. I still got major DOMS with that premix!

Shelley, hope you get a good workout in later. Run a little extra for me. :) I don't know if I'll ever run again.

Shannon, I think Isaac's feeling fine. I think he was just faking yesterday as an excuse for his "potty accident." Right now he has his shirt off in the backyard--think he must have got some sand under his clothes. :) Oh good, he's getting dressed again.

Tneah, well, you probably won't read this, but have a good trip down to CA.

Here's the thing about acting excited about random weeds the kids bring in calling them flowers: now they're bringing in leaves and grass and no telling what they'll bring in next. Oy.

Last week, Isaac was bringing in so-called flowers and said he was bringing them to cheer me up (though I wasn't depressed at the time). Then he asked "How many flowers until you are happy forever?"

Hello Melters.

Today was such a better day at work than yesterday.

Yesterday, I bought gas for my little Civic and I got a real bad headache from being there.

My packages finally arrived, a day earlier than expected.

My review should be late this week or early next, I think it might be OK.

Time to workout, my back is doing better. I think raking the yard was the culprit although it pulled when I picked up Seville, only 12 pounds.
