TurboFire & CLX

Has anyone combined TurboFire with CLX and what type of results did you get? Also, about how long were the workouts when you combined the two, I know one of the things I like about TurboFire is the short length, the longest a workout gets is one hour. Please let me know if you liked the results or you preferred to do them separately? I have TurboFire and I am thinking of purchasing CLX. One last question, where did you get the workout schedule for the mix of the two workouts?

Ivy,

I've had CLX for some time, and only just received Turbo Fire a few days ago. The combined rotation is in the Turbo Fire guidebook. I haven't attempted any of the TF workouts yet, and have only done a few of the CLX workouts, so I can't really comment on how well they work together.

Thank you very much for the information, by the way, I have done TurboFire and I loved it!! I am definitely a fan of Chalene's, Cathe's as well, but you know, it is nice to have options.

You're welcome! You also asked about the length: as near as I can tell, there isn't a day longer than 60mins, and many are shorter.

How long did it take for you to catch on to the TF routines? I watched Fire45 and thought "whoa!" My reluctance to start using them is based on a concern that I'm not going to get a very good workout initially, because I won't be able to follow along very well. Got any advice?

Try the "new to class" option where Chalene breaks down the routines before the workout. :) If you know the moves in her Turbo Jam series, that helps a lot. So, when she cues, "Twist" in TF, you know it's a front lunge, jab cross, knee up combination.

The combos really aren't that hard to learn & the workouts still burn a ton of calories even if you make mistakes! :p

She is so right, you have to try the workouts anyway and don't be intimidated, you will burn calories just trying to learn the routines. The fun factor is great! You are working so hard and the music is soo good, it helps to keep you motivated and so does Chalene. I wonder what she is doing next?
