TURBO JAM NEWS

Cathlete
I have read the new blog of Carl Daikeler of Beachbody. He has posted this about the new TJ workouts:

As Turbo Jam has started to get more notice now that the infomercial is on TV and people are experiencing the "party" that these workouts represent, the demand for an even more challenging and lively set of routines has been a recurring theme of many emails I get each week. (Yes VF'ers, that means you!)

We have completed principle photography on six new, more advanced Turbo Jam LIVE! videos which we are planning to release as they are completed - probably starting in December. Cardio Remix and Turbo Jam Booty Sculpt will be the first two titles in this new set. While they are more advanced routines, they still keep the workout to around thirty mins since that is by far the most popular feature of most of the Beachbody catalog (Time matters to most customers!).

The next four videos, which we shot this week will be Fat Blaster (30 mins), Turbo Jam 3T's of Sculpting (30 mins), Cardio Party 3 (45 mins), and Punch Kick and Jam (45 mins).

In January we will take it yet another level up with more advanced hour-long workouts, and a couple other twists I have in mind for this line.

There is an awesome pic of the TJ group in the blog.

Mariágeles, do you think Turbo Jam(s) are good workouts? I've seen mixed reviews and am curious how you like them.
Thanks,
Jo

Jo - some of us (like me) love them and some people don't. Like anything I guess. I think they are the most fun cardio workouts ever!!

As alwasys, thanks for the update Mariageles! I wish they were coming out with the 60 minute DVD's sooner!

Jo - I do really enjoy them... and now dangit... that music is going through my head... "la la la ladies.... fa fa fa fellows... PAAAARRRRTY!!!" hehe.... Chalene is a fun instructor - the music is great and none of the moves are difficult to learn. I do sweat pretty good too. They are not to dancey either... when she does dancey types moves - it is more a hip-hop type shake your hips (good ab moves) - and it does really get me into it... I really enjoy them and am really looking forward to the new ones to incorporate with Cathe.

Oh - and my knees love that there are not too many high impact moves at all...

Jo, I named myself Turbo Jam junkie. I think that answers your question. TJ rocks¡¡¡. I love everything: Chalene and her group are very motivating, the music is fun and I love kickboxing. I am going to buy all the new TJ workouts. I can't wait to order.

Hi Maria,
Can you tell me if Turbo Jam ever does preorders. I have both Turbo Jam the upgraded package in my shopping cart and the Slim Series. I think I might wait on Turbo Jam if there is a new series coming out and there is a preorder.

Thanks, Mariángeles. I checked beachboy website, they did not have preview. Could you suggest which one is better or it is worth to buy the package? I am advanced Cathe workout level. I recently have knee problems due to my flat feet and I have a stress fracture in my right foot. It will take another week for me to remove cast. I will see my doc next Sat. I would like to have something to alternate with Cathe's low impact when I am ready to workout again. I need to lose 20 lbs.

Thanks
