Tuesday Kettlebell in November (!!!)

I cannot believe it is November ALREADY. How does time go that fast?

I just got back from the Region. I am so exhausted - and I hate funerals. Everyone talks to each other like they are trying to pretend there isn't a dead person that was loved in the box right next to them. :confused: Why do we do that to ourselves?

Today I am going to try to get a run in and do BBC chest - and try to avoid Rich's eyes because they totally freak me out! :p If I can't get it in, no biggie. I am still tired and may tucker out by the time DD gets home from school.

[/FONT]Then, practice your handstands for 10 – 20 minutes. Work forward rolls, handstand forward rolls, wall handstands or free-standing, even handstand push-ups. Any variation – just practice the skill.

  • Accumulate 1:00 in an L-hang position

Melissa ~ I can't believe it's November either! I don't know where this year has gone. ITA about funerals. I remember at my grandma's wake people kept coming up to my dad and telling him how good she looked. Ummm...she's dead! I'm grateful that both my parent's have stated that they don't really care if we have a funeral. It's up to us on what we are comfortable with and if we need the closure.

Today I'm going for a run. I have been totally stressed this week because my mom is having back issues but I'm managing to hold it all together.
 
Good Morning!

This morning was Element Ballet Conditioning, No Equipment Abs from STS Ab Circuits (toughest one so far) and 4 chinups. Tonight is 2 Step Class.

Deanie - No handstands???? But you're the bionic woman!:p Are you doing pullups unassisted now? I have to try that L-hang position. 1 minute is a long time!

Jane - It's nice that your parents said you could do what you're comfortable with. Makes things go much easier.

I actually started looking at the description of how to get in the pose and I'm still trying to figure out! I think I need a few more attempts!

Hi all

Today I did Drill Max segments 1-4. My goal is to burn 500 calories a day. So far so good. I started on Drill 5 but I was running out of time and subbed swings for the other stuff.

Deanie- No handstands? I'm disappointed...Just Kidding! Great workout this morning. Did I miss the Bar Mitzvah? If so, how did it go?

Melissa- I hate funerals also. I can go to a perfect strangers funeral (ie a coworker's parent-I mean I don't just randomly visit funerals for the heck of it) and cry my eyes out. I think the sadness is contagious. Who is Rich and what is BBC. I feel so behind. If I had time, I would totally go back and read the old posts.

Jane- I know what people mean when they say that someone looks good but it doesn't make it any better. I am praying for you to be at peace and keep your peace.


Marcy- I am going to have to rename that Pose dedicated to the ER or Pose Dedicated to the Chiropractor. That is definitely where I would end up tryiing to do that pose. I am so dense. When you said that you were going to 2 Step class, I thought you were going to two step classes. Duh! Have fun tonight.


Cathy- It took me forever to learn how to type in color. Click on the A with the underline under it which is above the blue box. You may have to go in your user control panel to pull it up.


Off to study....uggh. A test next Monday and one next Saturday and then done until January!!!
